Buying Beomaster with Beosound5

Hello,

Is it still advice able to buy a Beomaster series 5 with 1TB HDD together with the Beosound 5, including the Beo5 and the Beosound 5 floorstand, including all cables for 450 Euro’s

I was thinking of connecting it to my Beovision 7-40 MKIV?

Hi Marcel,

Beomaster 5 is still running on Windows XP and has a HDD. In the archive there are how to’s to replace the HDD with a SSD. Price is not dropping much over the years so you can always sell it if you are not happy with it. Spotify connect is not working anymore. Soilutions with a Behringer usb audio soundcard and eg Chromecast audio
