My Mk 3 BV11-40 has NetRadio, but a relative with a similar Mk3 TV does not.
Should it be possible to update the software via USB to add NetRadio if this doesn’t happen automatically? Or is it that some Mk3 BV11s just can’t have NetRadio?

9 February 2024 at 14:47 #52673As far as I am aware all BV11’s were born with the Netradio function.
In the early-early days of the Beoplay V1 this had to be updated to get netradio.Might be a dumb question….but are you sure that the tv of your relative is connected to the homenetwork/internet?

9 February 2024 at 15:41 #52674Hi MM,
Yes he’s on the internet. The auto updating says the software is up to date, but there is no sign of NetRadio. This made me wonder whether B&O were actually still broadcasting the updating software. My own TV software says it’s up to date, but the software version is dated 2017.

9 February 2024 at 20:16 #52675There hasn’t been any updates for ages.
Netradio runs on my V1 (and did on my old Avant 1st Gen), which is basically the same platform as the BV11.
I can not recall what I did….it is almost 10 years ago – it was no problem to get it running.
Let me think for a while – or maybe someone else can comment.MM

17 April 2024 at 07:35 #52677Hi,
Just for information, the latest BV11 software version is 1.0.11.37484
I have this version on my BV11, and it works with netradio
30 July 2024 at 13:13 #57786Just to conclude this thread, my relative took his TV back to the dealer who succeeded in reinstalling the software resulting in the reappearance of NetRadio. (A software upgrade via USB did not to work.)
