BRONZE MemberHi, looking at floorstanders to replace my C75s and so considering the Beolab 6000.
My question is if I connect using the pre-amp output can I control the volume using the Beomaster?

Apologies for slow reply…
I did get this with the first set of (cheap) rca to rca cables I used, which I then changed for shielded ones (I subsequently got free from the people I bought the speakers from) which did improve matters. Since then I’ve changed amp to an Audiolab 8300CDQ and in just one speaker I do get a very slight hum when the amp goes into standby but not straight away though. Not sure if I need better shielded cables or if it’s the speaker.
