I’ve got a small issue with my Beogram 8002.
The unit is completely recapped and all servicepoints adjusted.
The Beogram is working in nearly all functions except one small issue with the pause function.
If I press the PAUSE button the tonearm lifts up as expected but the platter spins further for more than 30 minutes ( did not test longer). The tonearm keeps in lifted position, not traveling to it’s homeposition.
As I know from other BG 8000 the tonearm should lift, the platter stops after maybe half or one minute and the tonearm travels to it’s home position.
If I press the PAUSE button twice (short behind) the tonearm immediately lifts and goes to it’s home position and the platter stops.
After pressing PLAY again the platter starts spinning again and the tonearm travels to the position where ist was before on the record.
Issue or nice feature?
Maybe someone has an idea where to look for.

SOLVED, should have read the user manual ( men don’t read usermanuals anyway) ;-))
All OK with this is’s a difference between BG 8000 and BG 8002
