Hi dear Members
I have a Beogram 4500 on my workbench and it has an really unusual issue.
After changing the usual cap on the servo board the player needs very long to read a original CD. RW CD’s are not playing.
I could adjust the laser current and the focus as discribed in the SM when a CD is running.
I swapped the CD drive and the servo board to another Beogram 4500 and everything is working flawlessly as expected, CD’s even RW ‘s are read in within about 5 seconds.
I tested both drives and servo boards again and again no change.
So I my opinion the issue could only be on the mainboard. So I renewed every single cap on the mainboard even the two inside the uPc can, nothing changed. Dry solderjoints are not visible under a magnifier.
Voltages are in specs as far I could read.
Are there any suggestions where to serch for this issue?
Any help is highly appreaciated?
Kind regards
Christian
