      Hi,

On my beogram 3000, 5901 type, the bearing for holding the flywheel (partnumber 1601) has a teflon/nylon seat. Since the flywheel hits certain points, it makes a terrible noise. Ofcourse when the nylon seat had been pushed downwards, the position of the flywheel (vertical spekaing) is not correct and (even worse), the flywheel is running on the brass edge.

      1. From the sevice manual it is not clear to me how to dismantle the brass guiding tube of the bearing and to replace the nylon small disc. Can somebody give me a clue? (Even the brasstube bearing is drawn in the manual but has no part number)
      2. When I could replace the nylon disc, what is the correct thickness and what is the final distance between the top of the flywheel and the bottom of the chassis (part 1643)? (Only the final height of the topplate to the topside of the turntable is mentioned (2.5-3.5mm) in the service manual).

Any advise how to deal with this?

      Kind regards,

      Erik
