Hi. I recently inherited my fathers 2200 and it plays beautifully. But the turntable makes a ticking noise which is very evident when playing a quiet record. B&O tech in Barcelona tell me they cannot fix due to parts not being available. Any guidance? Thank you.

Check if the motor bushing touches the metal bracket.
If it does – replace the motor mounts.

– or replaced, and a good condition used original motor would be the way forward in that case.Martin
