Hello B&O community, I’m having issues with my Beosound 9000. I’m hoping that maybe a laser replacement would help. when I try to play a CD, I can hear some clicking noise but it eventually just says “PAUSE”
    When I run TM 27. I get

    NO ML ERROR
    NO IIC ERR
1 CD ERR 2 = Focus error, it has not been possible to find focus.
    NO SER ERROR
    NO SLG ERR
    NO PLT ERROR
    NO APS ERROR

However, this is where things get interesting. the sledge moves fine when I manually select CDs in various slots and also (TM 71: Mechanical test of finger protection, sledge and led) seems to work well.
but when I run (TM 65: Light pen to outermost position), the lightpen does not seem to respond or move to the very right.

I was trying to use TM 65 so I can clean the top of the laser but ran into this issue.

I already tried cleaning the sensors and top of the laser eye. (but no the mirror). I can try dissecting the machine and clean and front and back of the laser. this is my next plan. but the fact that TM 65 does not do anything, worries me. Does TM 65 work on your MK2 by any chance?

One other quick question, where can you source the laser? (I live in the US but happy to purchase from anywhere from the world if I can get quality parts. I have a type 2563.

    thanks in advance!
