Have you changed the settings on the Beolab 3500 to ML ON?

If not press Menu+0+9+GO The display should now show ML ON or ML OFF. If it is off use up or down commands to change to ML ON

Afterwards you can check the connection by pressing Menu+0+2+GO The display should now show ML OK if it is working or else NO ML or an error code.
