BRONZE MemberHi all, I’m currently in the process of restoring a Beolab 1700 amplifier and in it’s current condition the treble slider isn’t ‘attached’ to the slider mechanism behind it and the balance dial is missing. How would I go about reattaching the sliders? Does the front/sides need to come off, and if so how? I also need to restring the volume pulley system and was wondering what the best way to do this is an not much information is available online. Any help would be much appreciated.
Many thanks

BRONZE MemberIt appears the side panels need to come off, but the plastic clips (?) holding them attached to the metal frame are completely stuck, there’s rust on the bit holding the plastic – any advice for getting these un-stuck?
Cheers

BRONZE MemberFigured it out! Just needed a little bit of gentle force to remove the side panels and then the two locking pins need pushing outwards to remove the slider panel.
