  • Re: Compatible Electric Floor Thermostat

Short update: Currently I decided to go the difficult way. I plan to build (expensive!) KNX system with thermostat and actuator, and then try to bridge KNX and BLGW.

  • Re: Long-press commands on Essence remote

Chris, this will not work. I have faced absolutely the same behavior of the Essense ( Here in Russian, sorry). The thing is that when you set the delay, the BLGW will anyway send two commands, but the first one (short) with delay, that will make the result even more messy. I was thinking to use the KEY_RELEASE parameter - that would help coping with the first command, but for some reasons (do not remember) it did not work either. I have agreed to live with the situation, that If I need to choose

  • Compatible Electric Floor Thermostat

Hello, The thermostats that are mentioned in all the topics are very nice, however most of them work with water heating systems. I am looking for the electric floor thermostat that may be used with BLGW. Something like Devi (http://www.devismart.com/) or HeatIT (http://www.heatit.com/heating-control/floor-heating-thermostats/heatit-z-trm2/). Looking on the list of the drivers, I could not find something similar. Does anybody know what brand/model is compatible? Danfoss' Devi looks to use proprietary

  • Re: Beolink app

Have just updated it and... There is still no button to pause/stop the sound while listening the BeoSound5 :(( One still needs either to switch to another source or to standby the system. I would prefer if I choose the N.Music, then I go to the corresponding page, choosing what I want to hear and then press play and start enjoying the sound. Now it immediately starts to play last played song (which may be totally inappropriate now) and there are no way to stop it.

  • Re: Install and use external drivers for BLGW

I can also confirm smooth and fast performance of two HS110 connected to BLGW - much nicer than using native Kasa application. The only difficulty I had was to find out the IP address of the plugs and make it fixed (by settings on a router). As usual, some setup pictures (and text in Russian) are here. driver is 0.3 and blgw is 1.2.5

  • Re: Beo5 fixed to death

OK. That was incredibly stupid from my side than. I have managed to remove the glue and get the functions back.. Unfortunately for the price of the appearance of the side plastic. The only hope I have that it could be a good lesson for others. Thank you a lot, BeoMotion!

  • Beo5 fixed to death

I've got my hands on second hand Beo5 and managed to get it fully re-programmed (though it was a challenge to find 32-bit laptop). Worked great, but the screen had a little mechanical play between two parts (the back and the screen glass with connected frame). I did not find a better solution that to lube it with superglue (yes, it was not a tiny drop) and left overnight. In the morning I have found that the unit "head" is firm as it expected to be, but the screen does not work properly

  • Re: Beolink Gateway and cameras (mainly HIK Vision)

As I understand, the list is far not complete. It looks like if some B&O installer succeeded with getting the camera working and reported it to the BeoWise, the camera goes to the list. However i am not 100% sure. At the moment I am confident, that if camera supports MJPEG and with other notes above (see previous posts) any model will work. I have not noticed in URLs anything BLGW specific. My own experience show that one should study at list basic ideas of connecting to the IP cameras - that

  • Re: Beolink Gateway and cameras (mainly HIK Vision)

I suppose the issue is in the fact that some Hikvision cameras stream only in H264 in a hi-resolution stream and BLGW does not support it. I've managed to find the list of supported cameras from BeoWise, and Hikvision is not in the list. And the list also says "Beolink gateway does only support still image and Moving JPG. H264 and MPEG4 via rtsp is not supported" So the solution is either change the camera, or to tweak it to get mjpeg from hi-resolution stream (asking at hikvision forums
