  • Re: How many 1611 converters can be used in a master link network?

Just tried the Product Configuration Guide: If Masterlink is selected to link rooms, one can't select 'old' audio devices (to enforce the use of a 1611). But it is possible to add several 1615 to connect a MX4000 for example.

Hi, even when you get trouble with the two 1611 in your masterlink network you could try a Beolink Video 1615 to connect the lintronic to the Audio aux connector. This is just a gues but might a solution for your problem and a 1615 is quite cheap.

Hi Luke, the 1615 does only transport the audio signal and the Datalink signal to and from a B&O TV, and converts it to masterlink. The video signal itself will be transported via the antenna cable. But video is not needed in your case and the masterlink network doesn't care if the video transfer is done correct or not (which is the case in this scenario). Concerning the Product Configuration Guide: It's just not possible to have an Audio System (a 1611 in your case, because it would

  • Re: BV 10 & BS5 & Masterlink

Hmm the picture doesn't show something wrong, they should be ok. All necessary connections are doen internally in the junction box: - white-blue and pink are connected - the two outer pairs on every side are all connected with each other (use for the shielding and ground wires) So no need to set a special cross wire or jumper. Just matching the masterlink wires to the corresponding connection (colour). Did you connect the masterlink cables to the components _before_ final power-up sequence or

  • Re: BV 10 & BS5 & Masterlink

Hi, the BS5 needs A.Opt 0 to not react on IR signals, this will be handled by the BV10. But it also has to be set to 'Audiomaster = Yes'. The Audiomaster setting defines it's role in the masterlink system. If you own a BS900 for example, the BS9000 is the Audiomaster and an additional BS5 has to 'give up' it's role as Audiomaster in the system. If you don't utilize another audio system in your master link system then the BS5 has to be an Audiomaster! So you should set

Booting a Masterlink system should be done in the following sequence: - Power off all devices - Disconnect every Masterlink device from the Masterlink cables - Set al the V.OPT, A.OPT and L.OPT settings - connect every Masterlink device to the Masterlink cables. - Connect the Video Master device (if it exists in this setup) (which is the case here ) to the mains and power it up. - wait about 2 minutes - Connect the Audio Master device to the mains and power it up. - wait about 2 minutes - Connect

Hi, there's an optical SPDIF connector just left of the HDMI socket :) Get a cheap converter from TOSLink to RCA SPDIF and connect it to the BV7 :) Search on amazon or eBay for: 'toslink to rca'

  • Re: Beolink Wireless - set up

Hi, yes, this will work fine if the job is done proper and the junction box is not moved after connecting the splice cables.

  • Re: Beolink Wireless - set up

Hi, yes to all You can use a junction box or a masterlink multi-plug box. The latter is easier to handle because you just plug the masterlink plugs into one of the six connectors. So no hassle with cutting existing master link cables and put them into the filthy junction box connectors.
