Yes I found some of Rudi’s posts in the Archive 2 forum quite useful.

In his defence, he was also quite open about what he was doing, giving an early heads-up of the BM7 project on Beoworld and providing updates.  We had ample opportunity to put a stop to any posts that went in the wrong direction.
His first post on the new forum was the first blatant advertising and was the reason that I started this thread, but again you can’t blame him for trying to get exposure for the BM7 adaptor across ‘Planet Earths [sic] biggest Bang and Olufsen community’!  With regard to the Forum Rules, I am a moderator and haven’t a clue where to find them!
I responded to Rudi’s BM7 ‘advert’ only after checking here. On reflection, we should have stuck to the rules.
Overall I agree that we should simply leave things be at the moment. Maybe in a few week’s time we should look to alert forum members to the ‘rules’, and at the same time re-impose the policy whereby only Silver and Gold Members can place ‘For Sale’ or ‘Wanted’ ads.
