Thanks to ALL the posters here (and also the posters in the "Flash your B&O" thread of course) ! This is certainly the best advertisement I can imagine for the BS Shape and for Bang & Olufsen.
after having to reset the router the problems all returned. ... I have also set all speakers on a stable router channel (channel 11) with a static IP address.
Each time I reset mine, my wireless BS35 isn't able to find the network again. I have to unplug/plug it to main just after. Will a static address solve this?

  • Re: Beovision 6 26 Does it have DTV (Digital TV) if so how to tune, options if not?

Hi Your BV6-26 has DTV (probably), but is not HD. Henceforth, you need an external box/decoder. And because this (old) version of BV has no HDMI, you need to use the SCART plug (which is analog). There's a possibility to use the DVI port with a HDMI to DVI converter, but it only works with a signal coming from a PC (not protected), not with TV broadcast.

Sorry, I was editing my message while you were writing yours... (there are some differences with what is quoted in yours)
I can buy another Chromecast audio and know definitively.
And what about the coaxial/optical conversion?

  • Re: Beolab 5 & 96khz sources
Just to ask: Are you sure you aren't transcoding down below 96khz in your setup? I only ask because I thought I had it working and then figured out I had accidently kicked my 24->16 transcoder in and was pumping out 16/48khz audio.
Even if transcoding is deactivated where it's proposed, no I'm not sure. The many options are not often explicit for the average person, and because the audible differences are not possible to compare side by side
