  • Two-step remote prob

Hi! I just disconnecte my old LX from 89 and replaced it with a crt from 92. One reason for this was that I was so tired of fiddling with the remote because it always, or almost always, skips two steps whatever I do, be it the menu for the DVD or the sound settings, or whatever. This just got worse; not only are the blue and pink tint in the upper and lower corners of the left sode of the screen still there on the "new" tv, but every single command skips two steps, however lightly I touch

The picture is gone; I get sound, but the TV doesn't turn, and shows no picture. I used the BL1000 for the picture 0 and sound 2 maneuvre, but this can't be related now, can it? It started with the screen going blank whenever I changed channel, but when I rebooted the TV and setbox, it came back. A cumbersome procedure, but now it's gone west, apparently. Any ideas?

  • Setting sound options on Beomaster 7000

I think I have tried everything. I want to get my Beo to start on e.g. volume 20, instead of 6, where I managed to set it some time ago. I get to o"options", and then nothing happens. Any ideas, at all? EDIT: Title edited by Dillen from Peomaster to Beomaster.

  • Beovision 4 or 7

I am getting a used 4 or 7, and it has to be connectable to HDMI, but I cannot figure out which one has that. Has anyone got an idea? Trying to read the reference books, but neither seems to have that. I have the Beocontrols 1000 and 7000, and of course I want to integrate it with Apple. Sincerely Carl Hildeman

  • Not a sound from my Beogram 7000

Dear Beofans My deck starts, lowers the pickup, and no sound comes through the speakers. Sometimes the LED "33" blinks, sometimes it just lights up, and stays lit. I have a Philips 22 connected also, to the same socket, and that works very well when I play old 78 RPMs. Only the 7000 is silent. I know that there is a RIA in the Beogram, and I think I had one installed in the Beomaster 6500 in the 90s, also, before I got the Beogram.. Anyway, it has worked well, until now. It would be really

  • Connecting BeoCenter 1 with VX7000

I am keeping my BeoCenter 1 for the the time being, and am trying to connect it to the VX7000, and to my PC. The BeoCenter 1 has two scarts, and the TV only works if i stick the scart from my Denver set top in the right one and set the TV to V-tape. There desn't seem to be any way to get the Denver to address the TV-setting. Radio and DVD work perfectly. I tried to ron the signal through the VX, as described in the manual, and it makes no difference whatsoever, so to use the VCR, I have to disconnect

  • Which beolink converter?

Hello world! Setting up a Beovision 7-32 with Beomaster 65 and Pentas. Here’s my question: should I get the Beolink converter T1611, or the 1614, to integrate the system? I also have a Beocord 7000, which is probably totally irrelevant information in this context. Best regards Lennart

  • Re: Which beolink converter?

I now have the VX7000 working, but, in spite of several attempts, the BM7000 makes no sound, although it reacts to the remote, as does the BC6500. Lo and behold; I just got it to start. I heard the radio, then I switched to the BC6500, heard nothing, went back to the radio, hear nothing, turn it off, turn it on... The display on the BC6500 shows that it is playing, but the loudspeakers stay silent.

  • Re: Which beolink converter?

I now have the Masterlink 1614, Beomaster 6500, BV 7-32, and a V7000. I am trying to connect them, so that I don't have to move the loudspeaker cables to the Pentas back and forth. That was the idea. I have no idea how to make this work. Furthermore, the BV reacts with snowfall when I press TV on the 4 remote. The TV works when I press Vmem. I am confused, stumped, and my learning curve has flatlined. Help, someone?

  • Re: Which beolink converter?

I think I have followed your instructions exactly, trying several times, and all I have achieved is that the 6500 no longer responds to the Beo4, or the 7000, or the 1000. I will try to reverse the order and set the 6500 as master. I haven’t got any more DIN cables, so the full luxury will have to wait, anyway. I will also look for the opt1 in the manual. Freundliche Grüsse Lennart
