  • Re: BLGW + Lutron QS questions

When you are the end user, not an integrator, you should not know either it is "dimmer or a "shade" resource. You just use the control. What I propose is to add to user the possibility to control blinds not only by pressing buttons but using the slider too to set the desired level... on a corresponding tab. Personally, I think it is a nice feeling. Why not? On this forum we will know that it might be not totally accurate to name the blinds control as a "dimmer", I agree.

  • Re: BLGW + Lutron QS questions

It looks like it is a BLGW code bug. I have assigned 2 shades and one of them works properly, but second one is not. I have put more details here . And it looks like the SHADE resource does not receive the status of the drive with current setup (while DIMMER does)..

  • Re: BLGW + Lutron QS questions

After careful examination of the Lutron Integration Protocol LED figures are found :) But the second question is still valid. BTW. If someone form BLGW programmers is checking this topic. It would really worth to add possibility to place DIMMER device to the SHADES tab. I can assign the shade as a dimmer and control it by slider - this is wonderful experience! Much better than buttons. However now it is possible only from the LIGHTS tab. Could you please consider this add-on?

You can find the pinout here: https://www.beoworld.org/beotech/index.htm The spare ML plugs are often on eBay.

  • BLGW + Lutron QS questions

Hello, I have just upgraded MLGW to BLGW and, must admit, was pleasantly surprised. The Lutron Integration Protocol is implemented much better. You finally start to enjoy using the setup :) However there are two open questions for me (Grafik Eye QS EcoSystem + Sivoia QS shades) 1. I have assigned the control buttons of Grafik Eye as a "Button with light" and BLGW by default adds button+80 to the address parameters to get the LED status, but it does not work - status does not change. It

I am thinking about this too. when you power up BL2000 it starts to play the current audiostream.

Here's the similar topic about Beolink Active: http://forum.beoworld.org/forums/p/3454/31256.aspx#31256 Probably, the solution is the same - firmware update. However I was thinking how to find the way to do it without update, but using MLGW. For example in macro with 3 commands: 1.Activate BC2 with A.AUX 2. Wake the BL2000 without choosing the source (how????) 3. Put the BC in standby. Obviously it will only work first time, when BL is not powered yet.

Emil, This does not work either. With A.MEM sent BL2000 tries to switch somewhere (relay click), LED blinks green and immediately back red. Interesting, that A.MEM2 works for BL2000, but asks for N.MUSIC at the BC2. That was for Beo4. The same with Beolink app. Link checkbox does not help.

  • Re: Add a linked A.AUX source for BeoLab 2000

Carolpa, unfortunately, this does not work. At the end BL2000 stays with initially chosen source and BC2 starts to play A.AUX. There's another workaround, even less nice. I can start PM at the BC2 an then physically push the Play button on BL2000 - then it will play the same what is on audiomaster., Then I can switch the BC2 off and get the desired result. Does anybody know what is the ML command to wake the BL2000 without choosing any source (= press Play on BL2000)? This is not shown on MLGW
