  • Re: Beolink Gateway and cameras (mainly HIK Vision)

There's another hint in a BLGW pdf guide: See tip in BeoWise > Link > BeoLink > BeoLink Gateway > TIPS > Supported IP cameras. Note: The BeoLink Gateway is not supporting the H.264 format in cameras. Is there anyone who is able to print here the list of supported cameras? I suppose in my case it is the root of the issue, since the main stream in my camera is h.264. I can choose the mpeg for the secondary stream, but not for the main. The other good tip (from MLGW help) is Low resolution

  • Re: BLGW without app and Apple: Webinterface?

Please note that you will have to scroll a lot within the browser if you will create many buttons. In my case it is more than 2 screens. That is correct. You can create the virtual button and assign the action, say TV ON to that, actually (almost) any of the IR command, available from Beo4 (i had the issue to find V.AUX and had to use DTV2 instead ). The beauty of this button is that you can assign several actions from pressing one button. Thank you for the kind words. The primary idea of site was

I have just installed ivms-4500 and tried. It works as expected with both hi-res and low-res. It looks like when you are in the Zones mode of the BeoLink2 app (when you see all the zones of your system) and click on camera, it gives the hi-res image (main stream), so it looks quite good. However when you are inside of the one of the zones and click the camera, it gives you disappointing low-res image. There's a hint on the forums, that to make the cameras work properly you will need to switch

  • Re: BLGW without app and Apple: Webinterface?

It does not. The Web panel looks to be designed to check the scenes and BLGW commands only. There are no way to natively control the B&O devices if you did not create the web buttons for that. Here the screenshot of my setup: The same setup form BeoLink You may see that the PC screen is mostly for engineering and test. It does make sense to invest in simplest iPad 4 rather than suffer from such an interface. The commands from Beo4 are still naturally supported, since they are transferred to ML

The thing is that my camera (Hikvision DS-2CD2E20F-W) is not in the list, so I need to improvise. The RTSP path rtsp://192.168.0.64/Streaming/Channels/101 works for me, but the main question is what to put into the following lines for good image. I have found the very nice explanation here , though not fully covering all aspects.

I have one HIKvision cam too and the quality of the picture is far away of being perfect. I am not a CCTV expert, so I've read many forums and realized that the stream address is different for every camera type. Unfortunately there were no easy way for me to understand what exactly to fill in the BLGW camera setup fields, and using OMVIF software is not straightforward for newbie. Thus I had to use Trial-and-Error method, but did not succeed so far. I believe there could be a good idea if HIKvision

  • Re: Beolink app

I am using both Beolink and Beolink 2 (see https://forum.beoworld.org/forums/t/28283.aspx as an example). They are of different design but generally have the similar functionality. Both have its benefits and drawbacks. It looks like B&O supports both versions, but do not have resources to brush-up any of apps. Indeed, I cannot see covers in Beolink 2 and there's an issue with start-stop of the N.Music (it explained in the link above). I would say I cannot rely neither on Beolink nor Beolink

You are probably refer to Beolink 1. Indeed, it looks like you describe. I have the issues with BeoLink 2. Sorry for confusion. BeoLink 2: BeoLink 1:
