  • Re: How to capture from KNX to BLGW?

Thank you, Stefan, this is actually the solution. So, the capturing still does not work, but it is actually not needed for me as is. I have created the needed resources in BLGW (in my case Toggle button and Button works well) using the Group Addresses, already existing in ETS. And then created the macro, so when the resource is activated (set to 1 or 0), it triggers the event. This works both with native KNX GA (I have added the radio ON command while switching on the light) and with dedicated GA

  • How to capture from KNX to BLGW?

Hi, I have the BLGW connected (among others) to KNX. The integration works well from BLGW to KNX (e.g. when I press the Lutron button it starts the BLGW macro that is transferred to KNX and it works). I also have the KNX thermostat and CO2 sensor, that I am able to read from BeoLink (so, BLGW can read the specific existing Group address - if the macro is initiated at BLGW ). What I want to do is that pressing the button on KNX wall panel will switch on the BeoLab (It means that the macro is initiated

I would love to use this driver too. The module looks very promising.

  • Re: Beo5 fixed to death

I have found mine at eBay. search for 4/5AA. Some sellers can also weld the metal plates for you, if you need that. I had one issue though, that discharged batteries cannot be charged using Beo5. So I have charged it quickly outside (gave a boost to the batteries) and then installed to the remote, where it could charge further. Now it rests on the stand most of the time, but I afraid that if it will be discharged one day - I have to disassemble and cure it again.

Let me answer here. :) As soon as you start using the remote daily - you will merely notice this 1mm play - I was never thought about it since that day when I have fixed it back. It is only the concern if you cherish the unit, not using it :) Though, Beo6 gives a bit better sensual feeling, but if you do not have both remotes to compare - it is OK. The other thing is that you need to be careful with remote anyway, since the design is fragile and one careless move may send the remote to floor.

Here's the link to the BS5Service Tool. Since this is not a normal file sharing, I do not know how long the link itself will be active, but content should be there. https://yadi.sk/d/VW3xnEWSWMiikw https://yadi.sk/d/VW3xnEWSWMiikw https://yadi.sk/d/VW3xnEWSWMiikw https://yadi.sk/d/VW3xnEWSWMiikw

Thank you, Gerard! My bad, I mixed GParted with Fdisk :)) GParted looks understandable :) BTW, Server is back indeed. Unfortunately it was down exactly the days when we need to repair the disk, so I had to go through the cloning process again. (1 TB to 1 TB)

Looks like we need to persuade Geencar to share the usb content :) Since the update server is down, I would consider this as the end of support, that means that we as a community should keep the support in our own group, like we do for Beo5/6. I join the ask for the shared tool.

That may be true if you are experienced to work with linux gparted. When launched, I was afraid to do something wrong while calculating the figures, so I went to more intuitive EaseUS instead, that, unfortunately looks to corrupt MBR. Thus, after extending the disk I performed recovery and update. I believe the community will be grateful if you would shere step-by-step instruction how to use gparted for this case. Aleskei
