  • Re: BeoLiving news & support from Khimo!

Hi Ivan, I have now installed and configured the IFTTT Webhooks driver, it works like a charm and really simplifies the strings when setting up resources. Many thanks. One more driver that would be really useful, the other reason I'm using webhooks, is for Somfy Tahoma. The IFTTT implementation is quite limited, can only control scenarios while the Somfy app allows control of individual blinds. Not sure if this is an IFTTT or Somfy limitiation but would be great if the BLGW could interact with

Hi Ivan, It was early days with IFTTT and Webhooks I went into the config screen for Webhooks to see what settings there were. When I saved it definitely changed the key. So I had to change every resource making use of webhooks and it was quite a lot. So yes probably not a day to day issue but it would definitely make the strings shorter when setting up resources that use webhooks. Regarding Evohome, would be great. I have used Webhooks to set a few pre configured temperatures... hence I discovered

Hi Ivan, Welcome to the BeoWorld forums. I too still use the BLGW and can't upgrade at the moment because I still have a number of Masterlink products. However, I have been using the BLGW and IFTTT for a while and the integration is great. I have a couple of suggestions (hope you don't mind). 1. If is possible to have a IFTTT driver. I use IFTTT in both directions to send commands to the BLGW but also from it. I currently use custom HTTP to send Webhooks to the IFTTT service but its a pain

  • Re: new firmeware BLGW 1.5.2

Updated new firmware yesterday. All went well. The Philips Hue driver update did fix an issue where an Innr light could not be addressed directly via the BLGW. So worth the update. Not much else to report.

  • Re: Wiring ML

Hi, It is possible to star wire MasterLink using Cat6a or 7 cable. It is also future proof. You will need a Masterlink hub at the central point which the Cat6a/7 cables connect into and then cables at each socket to convert the RJ45 back into Masterlink. • Re: BLGW and Rako

Hi (late reply). Did you ever change this set-up. Not sure about how the existing Legrand ethernet thing works but if its already running over ethernet is there not a gateway compatible with the existing set-up that could be used? For Rako, yes you would need the dimmer and gateway to make this work with the BLGW. The PILL is limited to the load it can take, so depending on how many GU10s you have this may not be suitable. • Re: How to set volume levels and power state using BLGW

Hi, You're correct in the understanding of the STATE_UPDATE for network link products this is exactly what it is supposed to be used for. I myself found the online status sometimes unreliable (not checked recent updates) because my BV11 would sometimes report online when it wasn't. I guess this could have been background software updates or the likes. So instead I used the online and specific source to trigger macros. So for example, Selecting source Sky TV would turn on the Sky box automatically

  • Re: Beolink gateway (BLGW) control events and ML control

Rob Tried this last night and forward and back commands were not detected on the BLGW. Using the TV would work as suggested above because the Forward and back commands would be past over the ML to the TV PUC to control the box. Steven

  • Re: Beolink gateway (BLGW) control events and ML control

Hi Rob, From memory but I can test later, I believe that Masterlink products cannot send "status" commands back to the BLGW outside of the Light and Control commands. I have a similar issue with an old ML TV and the only way I solved it was using a Beo6 remote control and programming a macro when a source was selected, e.g. when pressing "TV" the Beo6 would turn on the source TV but also send a FUNCTION command which was forwarded to the BLGW. I am not sure the hard buttons on
