  • Beogram 3500 Light won't go out

HI, Ive just bought a used Beogram 3500 with MMC4 cartridge, it sounds great, and looks fantastic (mint). The only problem that I have is with the lamp that lights us the stylus, is always on (faint) and will only go out when i remove the power. I believe that the lamp should only go on when you lift up the lid, and when the record is playing, and should go out when the record has finished playing. Anybody know what causes this problem ?, and can it be fixed ?. Ive removed the bulb, but would like

  • Re: BeoGram 4500 - getting started

Hi Rhys, The Beogram 4500 should work with all MMC cartridges 1 to 5, 1 is best, 5 is good, (standard is de MMC4) you can get them retipt look on ebay. It could also be the built in pre amplifier thats broken. you will have to have it checked by a audio specialist. Otherwise you will get the cartridge retipt and still wont have any sound. Good luck Ken

Well done Lee, Its always hard closing down, but you have to be realistic. Having a business is about putting food on the table and not just indulging a hobby. I had a buisness for 9 years, working myself to death and just making ends meet. I took a good look at ny buisness and stopped. Best decision I ever made, saved my marrige and gave me a beter relationship with my kids. After 2 years I started a completly new buisnes with a friend, and its going great. Look ahead and not back, your best chances

  • DVB Tuner

I have just bought a 7-32 mk5 and thought it was standard fitted with a DVB module and a slot for the smart card. But the slot is blank so I guess its a extra option. I have read in the forum that the Type 4772 module is available for BeoVision 7-32 mark 5 I would like to build a module in,( to keep the sharp design), I have a few questions. Would a module work from another Beosound 7 ? Is there any point to a DVB-HD module or is it beter to use a external decoder? Any advise or tips welcome. best
