  • Re: Amazon Alexa to integrate into Multiroom

Thanks for the answer. I wanted to use Alex to voice control my B&O system. Up to now I have not found a satisfying way to control the system from a link room. Apple TV doesn't work in a link room - means I can't use the Apple Remote App to look up the liberties and switch to certain playlists and songs. B&O has not integrated any of Apple Music or Amazon Prime / Music. so I thought at least with the Echo speaker I could create a way to do it.

  • Amazon Alexa to integrate into Multiroom

I'm playing with the idea to integrate Alexa as a speaker into my Multiroom set up. Is the possible at all? I would like to treat it as a multiform speaker. Are there any other speakers which can be connected to multiform? Appreciate any thoughts.

You are right. Two different speakers. The BS1 is very clear and nice for all kind of music. Especially when you listen to Jazz or Smooth Jazz, the speaker is great. The M5 is more bass oriented. Up to know you can't change the settings with the play App as you can do on the smaller ones. I hope B&O is adding that feature and you can reduce the bass a little bit. Sound is fine for Radio and pop music. The BS1 is twice as good. The only thing I hate about the BS1 is the charger. This is not

New M5 is a great speaker. I like the sound and I very much like the design. I bought it for the master bedroom and for this it is the perfect fit. You can also use the timer function to get a nice wake up call. The materials used by B&O is extremely nice. I have the light color with silver aluminum top. In addition there are several opportunities to fine tune the sound and also the network delay with the Beomusic app. Bang and Olufsen is on a good way to come up with a real good solution for

Musste die BS1 noch einmal reseten. Danach konnte ich die Box auch endlich als Wireless AirPlay Lautsprecher einbinden in den Multiroom Nun funktioniert Alles prima.

Thanks for the support. I found the little whole and initiated a reset. Now my iPhone could find the wireless airplay speaker and I was able to add it into the Multiroom setup. Works fine after I changed the delay time to 200ms. The box is now synchronized to the Avant. I can play now music from my apple tv4 and listen on the BS1. Also I added today the brand new beosound M5. Everything works great now.

I went thru all the steps. For whatever reason I do not see the BS1 in my network. I'm in the same network. Bluetooth works fine but when I try to find the BS1 in the Beosetup app, the device is not shown. Also in the BeoMusic app it's not listed.
