• Re: MY B&O SMALL HOME
I actually liked your original kitchen :p so I can't wat to see what you make of it, keep us updated, I might steel some ideas as I am too remodelling :D
Me too! I thought the kitchen looked fantastic! I really liked (what I thought) looked like a polished concrete floor. Very nice and industrial looking but not too industrial, therefore working very nicely with the more natural toned kitchen cabinets. A nice feeling of open space. I undertook the same

  • Re: Beolab 4000/6000/8000’s compared to Sonos Play 5 (single unit)

Hi Paddy, I think this is a really interesting question. Personally I would prefer to use BL4000s (my first choice) or BL8000s (or above, naturally) rather than any Sonos speaker. I believe the sound quality would not even be comparable with B&O, which would be way ahead in many regards, not just 'authentic' stereo reproduction. I would not include the BL6000s since I see those more suited to rear speakers in a TV surround setup but that's just my personal opinion and preference.

Solid granite from the look of it! And yes, that is a hell of a lot of weight for the woodwork to be carrying but its all distributed and has been worked out previously I am sure. Those 2 pieces do look very heavy though for sure. Good move removing the pipework Kiran. I did the same here and now have no pipes or cabling visible throughout property. Bugged the hell out of me when I first bought this place but you need to carry out this sort of renovation to be able to do this effectively I think

  • Re: How do you like the Beosound 4?

I've always liked the BeoSound 4 but never bought one as I had several other BeoSounds so I just couldn't find a place for it. Having downsized property I have sold on even more B&O stuff now so am only left with an 11-46, a V1-32, an 8-32 and various Play products. I was thinking about getting a BeoSound 2 as I was simply blown away by the sound that thing made, its outstanding. However, I don't really need one and have nowhere to put it anyway! if I had a BS4 I would probably pair

  • Re: Beocom 2

You'll need a PSTN base to go with it Ben. If it didn't come with one you'll need to check eBay as I doubt dealers will still have these although still worth checking. There are different models too and I can't remember if they all work with the BeoCom 2 or not or just the laters ones. I just did a quick search on eBay and found this one from a Danish seller, which gives you an idea of what you need: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bang-Olufsen-B-O-BeoLine-PSTN-Base-Station-For-BeoCom

An optional extra as far as I am aware. Simon.

  • BeoVision 11-46

Just wandering if its possible to use my H4s and/or Airpods with the 11-46 as I have recently set up this TV for the first time since purchase earlier on in the year. Little to no experience of using it. Any advice greatly appreciated. Also curious on the best calibrated settings as the motion/panning seems very noticeable to me and rather distracting. Otherwise seems to be an impressive set. Thanks, Simon.

Making good progress still Kiran... You like your spots I notice? You have opted for a great number of them in the open plan kitchen and beyond. I do notice this a lot these days with many modern rennovations. I think builders and electricians like to put lots in as a matter or course! I am more minimalist myself with a 'less is more' approach. My electricians wanted to flood my whole downstairs with the things! lol
