• Re: advice selling a brand new beovision contour

    Bizarre thread, which should be deleted. You don’t need anybody to tell you how to sell something! If you genuinely do then you leave me gobsmacked, particularly as someone who buys Bang & Olufsen. Click the link at the bottom of this page and sell it to Lee who runs Beobuyer. Job done.

  • Re: beosound 2 sound quality vs stage

    One of the best products I have ever bought from B&O. Sounds is spectacular and fills a large room, let alone a small one like mine. Buy it.

  • Re: Stage suitable TVs

    No B&O in Bath Chris T, hasn’t been for some years now. Bristol is the nearest with Terry and Trevor still owning in partnership as far as I know. It’s at Cribbs Causeway if you want to Google it and visit. They also sell sofas, albeit the Ligne Roset brand if that’s to your liking. I bought my toga sofa from their several years ago now. If you ever visit Bristol do drop me a line as you’d always be welcome to visit. Always nice to meet people in person from the forums;

    Both Chris's invited over for drinks at mine if you fancy it. Unfortunately I've already started on the rose wine so I can't jump in my car to drive to Bath to see you guys! Message me on here if interested and I'll send you my details...

That’ll do thanks.
I have a 2020 LG GX 55" + Stage + BeoRemote + B&O stand which I'm probably going to sell soon if you're interested. It's smaller than 65", but do you really need a 65"? And, yes, the LG has some software in it's ROM which was developed with B&O to enable you to use the BeoRemote with it. It's...ok. I'd say you still need your Sky and other remotes

    Hi Chris (Townsend) What TVs have you considered? Just curious. I can't decide whether to upgrade or not! I've got the 11-46 which I am more than happy with but I sometimes feel that I might like to change to the Harmony, just not sure that 65" would be too big that's the prob. I like the LG wallpaper (W8/W9) sets too. Also the Samsung Sero is intriguing as its a bit different. Wondering where you're at with your considerations? I think Peter Tyson in Carlisle are fantastic btw

  • Re: Beosound Emerge

    LOL matador43 thanks for this great post! You made me smile a lot :) Say it how it is! Actually I do also agree with benoit that the Emerge is a more interesting shape and design over the M3/M5 speakers but that’s just to my eyes; of course we are all different. I love your description of the Balance being a flower pot!! That was good! The Harmony... well I do like it and if I can squeeze such a large TV into my small lounge I might get one, I am twiddling my fingers all the time over this

  • Re: Beolab 3 wall mounting

    Hi Chris, well I do think the 6000s are generally regarded as quite a weak speaker to be honest with you. I have always loved their sleek design but sound wise, personally I find they lack depth and the bass is weak with little impact. I had them for several years as part of a 5.1 surround setup as rears paired with 8000s as fronts, a lab 2 and the Avant RF32 DVD as the tv. In this setup they were excellent and probably the best speakers for rears matching the rest of the setup. When the 3s came
