• Re: My house renovation & B&O installations

Moving upstairs I converted one of the bedrooms into our home office. Here i placed a Beosound 1 and a Beocom 6000 on the office desks (excuse the shoddy photo) Below the left side desk I fitted the Beosound Core that runs the dining room Beolab 8000s & Beolab 11 - the powerlink cables were run early on in the build. The Essence remote in the dining room just below has no problem controlling the Core.

Many thanks for the kind comments guys, its reassuring to hear after all the decisions that has had to be made. Sandyb, I did consider what I should do in terms of home automation.. I decided against a full on ipad/Android controlled automated house. Too much of it relies on your WIFI and I already have rather a lot running on it such a 6 x Sky Q boxes & boosters, the entire under floor heating system, Tvs, B&O speakers and systems etc etc and whilst I do have so called 'fiber' it

OK, I will continue with the cigar room next for those who might be interested in that. Hiort, photos of the stocked humidor included especially for you :o) The cigar room is situated off the main hallway and I sourced a poster which I thought quite poignant and placed it on the wall just outside the room: The humidification system required quite a bit of cable management too and because it was a US import I needed to place a step down converter inside the walk-in humidor. Humidity sensor placed

  • Re: Best beoplay or multiroom speaker for bathroom?

I placed a Beosound 2 in my en-suite and so far no problems at all. As others have said, any speaker will do as long as you don’t take it into the shower itself..
Wow. How spectacular. Your renovation is out of this world. It’s an episode of Grand Designs. Now to delight in filling your humidor and your wine room and enjoy the spoils of some hard graft in putting it all together. The concrete wall panelling is a master touch for the wall in which your TV will be installed. I bet your wife is very happy too.
Thats extremely kind of you to say Michael, thank you. Wife is over the moon and pleased with my
Nope! I would have screwed codes, and brought White Fuga en masse across the waters! Let be honest. The UK power plugs/outlets are not entirely design marvels nor discrete... Apart from that,- you F.... aced it man! Hvilken LED pære fandt du til koglen? Den trives vist bedst med 400W glødetråds pære E24, som jeg sjovt nok købte på Amazon uk.
UK building regulations would not approve danish sockets and I would have had
Hi What's your complete B&O setup ?
I’m not sure I understand your question.. there are several individual setups dotted throughout the house but all network linked. So far I have shown the main living room setup and the kitchen/dining room setup. Others to follow as I get through the photos..

The next section is the Beolab 8000, Beolab 2/11 and Beosound Core installation. Early on in the build I ran Powerlink cables between the sliding door pillars and up over the ceiling into the office upstairs in order to place a Beosound Core. I had also fitted large wooden studs into the steel beams in order to hang the Lab8000s on them. Originally I plugged in my Beolab 2 but it soon became obvious it looked clunky sitting on the floor and the sound was slightly boomy as well for the 8000s. So I
