• Re: BEOVISION ECLIPSE
ECLIPSE DTS HD CAPABILITIES Pure speculation on my part: The C7 does have the HD codec, and since the back of the B&Oled was pimped, the original marking got lost in the paint shop. So technically the DTS HD symbol from the TV is now located on the soundbar. This time I really don't want to be right, because that would be outright sad... Incidentally, t his is why I asked Emil for a shot of the Panel type label..
But that’s a B&O label

Even B&O official website does not mention it... crazy.
For what would you need this decoding capacity in the SoundCenter? MM
Many Blu-Ray nowadays are DTS-HD Master Audio (or Dolby TrueHD, still unsupported by B&O).

  • Re: BEOVISION ECLIPSE
We have two pairs of Bang & Olufsen Bluetooth headphones, H9’s and H8’s each being connected to a separate iPhone. If both headphones are switched on both iPhones get confused and end up stopping both headphones! Neither of the headphones will connect to the Eclipse! We usually end up connecting the headphones to the iPhone by the 3.5mm lead/jack.
Strange. My wife and I are in the same situation, but as long as you pair each headphone to
I for one would love to get an "official explanation" but I'm not convinced we're ever going to get one. I've been waiting some considerable time already without a hint of an answer! PBSH
You won’t get one or they will tell you it’s by design, or maybe it’s the same obscure reason why the BV11 does not have a headphones jack - I gave up trying to figure out B&O’s feature implementation process...
I can see my Avant is running 1.0.11.37404 I presume I need to ask my dealer to request access to 1.0.11.37494 ? Is the only change that DD+ works? ( Dolby TrueHD or DTS-HD MA?
To the best of my knowledge, there aren’t any B&O Devices which support TrueHD and DTS-HD, Eclipse included.

  • BV10 - How to display refresh rate?

The Netflix app on my nvidia Shield has started switching frame rates automatically. How do I find out the current frame rate sent to the TV on a BV10? The standard service menu (0-0-Go) doesn’t seem to display the information. I’m looking for something like “Signal Information” included in the BV11 hidden menu.

  • Re: Bv11 Nvidia Shield Netflix - no 5.1 audio
After reading it leaves me a bit confused. I have a BV9 with a Shield. same issue, only 2.0 sound. But using the ATV3, I have 5.1 sound coming from the ATV3. So, what's the real difference? My BV obviously hasn't the right EDID, but it seems that the ATV3 doesn't care.
It's normal, the Shield and the Apple TV have different capabilities. I will try to explain, let me know if I don't make sense. Netflix on the Shield only carries DD+ streams

I will also add that some devices do not rely exclusively on the EDID. A first generation Amazon Fire TV has the option to force DD+ output even if the EDID says it's not supported.

  • Re: Bv11 Nvidia Shield Netflix - no 5.1 audio
Thanks for summarizing this. Clear and short. But, the next thing comes to mind when I think of some sort of same situation. On the Shield there is PrimeVideo from Amazon, the same happens there. Only 2.0 stereo instead of the 5.1 (The Grand Tour, 5.1 available). The Shield is an Android based device, so which one is to "blame" for this behaviour, The app Netflix and/or Primevideo or the Android that is restricting the app as it a kind of layer between
