  • Re: Beolink 1611 as AudioMaster ?

Hi Steve, quick question - you mentioned that a newer 1611 version is required: do you know what software versions of the 1611 support its use as an audio Master? I know the B&O part number of the 1611 was 16111611 but I've never seen one with hat printed on the label - only 1611. Perhaps the later version is quite rare?
  • Re: Beolink gateway (BLGW) control events and ML control

Hi Rob, I've not got any experience using the raspberry Pi, but others on the forum have. I believe you could make a similar arrangement to the one I'm using via that route. The Lintronic HW6 does indeed require an external B&O IR eye, but I have those in every room anyway - it's easy enough to take data and ground from one and input it to the Lintronic. In terms of my setup, yes I do control lighting via the MLGW, although I'm just using it as a bridge between my B&O system
  • Re: Beolink gateway (BLGW) control events and ML control

Hi Rob, I agree that this is a frustrating aspect of the BLGW/MLGW setup. I've got a work around using a intronic converter connected to the MLGW. My setup may not be of relevance to you as it is MLGW based and relies on the RS232 serial port on the MLGW (not sure if the BLGW has an RS232 port). If this is not helpful I apologise. I'm basically using custom strings to trigger events. It enables me to trigger automation events from any remote press. In this way it allows me to use a Beoremote
  • Re: Beovision 7 picture and sound problems with SKY!

Sorry - pressed the wrong button and marked your post as an answer! I think the buzzing when you change volume is related to the type of power link cable you are using - I had a similar issue with mine. Grab a replacement cable from Steve and see if that fixes it. For reference I was using a standard DIN cable - I'm not sure if it was a poor shielding issue or what, but when I replaced the cable the annoying buzz went away. Hope that helps

  • Re: BeoRemote 1 and NOT having radio as default 1st music source?

Hi there, I tried to post an answer on Friday, but it seems to have been lost in the ether! In order to change the default behaviour of the Music key you need to go to List > Settings > Advanced > Buttons > Music Select the "None" option. Alternatively you could select a different source to play automatically when you hit the Music Key To remove the Radio option from the source list you should navigate to List > Settings > Music Sources > Show Scroll down to Radio and
  • Re: Beovision 7 DSM fault repair

Hi Beobuddy- I finally had a chance to whip the back off the tv tonight. On removing the DSM I can report the board is indeed part number 8001196, but the second number (presumably serial number) is 74580134. Hope that helps?

  • Re: BeoRemote 1 and NOT having radio as default 1st music source?

Hi there, You should be able to change that behaviour through the "list" menu as follows: List > Settings > Advanced > Buttons > Music Select "None" and you should get the behaviour you want. Alternatively you could choose another source to start on the Music button press. Same applies for video. Removing the Radio source is really easy too: List > Settings > Music Sources > Show Just choose radio and the tick next to the source name will disappear - done
  • Re: Another Beovision 6 Question!

That is true for the early Beovision models - I believe you can display an image from the DVI input via the PC input, but the component inputs are not enabled and sources are not assignable to the HD inputs. Others may know which type numbers and software levels allowed HD inputs on both inputs for the Beovision 6. I'm pretty sure all of the Beocenter 6 models were HD enabled from the factory (others can correct me if I'm wrong). I have a Beocenter 6-26 and can confirm 2*720p inputs are possible
