  • Re: What's the WORST product in the B&O line-up

I dont know what product is the worst on its own, but I do feel the Beoplay ipad speaker doesnt belong in the B&O lineup. The reason is that to me B&O should produce timeless products with nice design and good build quality/ sound quality. While I havent tested the ipad speaker, and therefore cant judge the quality, I can say its not timeless. Apple updates their products every year, about 50/50 making them better opposed to just changing the design to sell more accessories. I love apple

  • Re: GRAMMAR is important

Ps. Speaking of languages, I have recently been hooked on P.G. Wodehouse novels. He often uses the greeting frase "Hullo" instead of "hello", is there anyone here from the UK that could explain the differance to me? Or the origin of this version of the greeting?

Im from sweden and our written language has a few differences compared to our spoken language, even more so with the sms/internet spelling. Maybe its because sweden (and scandinavia in general) is pretty interested in, and good at learning foreign languages, that I feel as long as you can make people understand what you are trying to say its all good. Or maybe its becaus people from sweden, denmark, norway and parts of finland can all understand each others languages without training, with just a

  • Re: Whatever happened to good old B&O edgy adverts?

I havent seen too much marketing for B&O at all, but I seem to remember a commercial with music by Jean Michell Jarre. I dont think the commercial made much sence but it did deliver the" feeling" of the brand combined with artsy stuff, but been a while so im not sure. They way i got into B&O was word of mouth and B&O cameos in movies. Then I researched the brand and got the feeling they had a limited amount of designers and a "design-DNA" running throu the entire lineup

  • Re: Earphones/headphones (a8) with ipod

Hi Paul, thank you for the response. However I dont think the ipods volume limit is the problem as I get good volume with both the apple earphones and my form 2. Its only when I use the A8 that the volume problem appears. When i first got the bs2 with the a8 i thought they where fantastic and hooking them up to my laptop and stereo I heard intruments I never noticed in music before. Thanks for the suggestions of other earphones to try, but im not really looking for anything else. When im at home

  • Earphones/headphones (a8) with ipod

First let me just say hello :) I used to hang out on this forum 6 - 8 years ago, but then life got in the way of B&O. Starting to miss it now Anyway, my question is: has anyone had any trouble using the a8 earphones with an ipod nano? I got the beosound 2 about 9 years ago (still works great) but a couple of years ago I started using an ipod nano as my everyday mp3 player. The problem is that when I use the a8 earphones with the ipod the volume is very low. No matter what I do with the Ipods
