Thank you for the kind offer and apologies for the late reply, however I have played a lot with the different software versions (2.1, 2.2 and 2.3) and I came to the conclusion that software 2.2 is the only one that works for my Beomaster 5500. Since I am not planning to depart with the BM for a while I will keep my eyes out for a SW 2.2 version. Perhaps there are others interested in this still? I know a few people

I'm sorry I did not see that you actually mention the software version there!
I would be willing to let these go for the price of shipping. If you receive them and they all work and you feel like they are worth something to you, you could send me a few euros, but that is NOT a must.
Hello Beosince98, I am interested in these, could you please let me know what the software versions are of the MCL2AV? And can you indicate the price of shipping (in a PM if you prefer?) Thank you very much in advance! Cheers, Mendel

  • Re: Playstation 2 to Beocenter 6-26 via component: black screen

Hi Eskil, a shame you are facing the same problem. As I said I have tried many tricks, PS2, PS3, Xbox 360. They all work with component on my Hitachi projector, none of them worked with the BC6-26 or the BV7-32. Therefor I do not think this is a problem of PS2 only. A few years ago I got my TV settop box working with component cables in 1080i resolution, so I know it can work. I have actually sold the BC6-26 (even though I loved it), and connected the Xbox 360 via a HDMI switch to the BV7-32. If
As transformers get older they can be prone to buzzing due to the metal plates loosening. There could also be some resonance with one of the panels at the rear or inside. Perhaps you could open it up and tighten any obvious fastenings - other that that I don't know what to suggest.
Thanks for your suggestion Guy, I fear is has to do with some internal signal noise, because it occurs with some sources and not with some other. And also it occurs with with sources
When was the last time Apple or Google changed their wireless protocol?
IMHO these companies are notoriously unreliable and for B&O to be dependent on their technology is not very wise. Modern B&O products are priced and build to last 2 decades but internally rely on services from companies that can go in any direction they please. They can also make strategic decisions to drop certain support, and B&O is small and will be at the end of the

Hi Steve, these from Conrad look sturdier, with the metal casing, but am I right to assume that sound-wise that does not make any difference from the plastic ones your offering? Cheers
Another thing you could try (I think you can do this in the Netherlands) - reverse the polarity of the mains plug - i.e plug it in the other way up, if possible.
Interesting. But after trying that there is no difference in the buzz.
