• Re: How to avoid sync problems on a ML/NL setup.

Hi Murray, There is an inherent delay in sending audio over the network to another device/room, so normally the sending device will delay it's audio output accordingly to remain in sync with the receiving devices. When the sending device is a TV, this is more complex, as delaying the audio from the TV speakers without also delaying the video would mean the audio would be out of sync with the picture (lipsync issues). There are two delay settings you can change, one of 'Wired' and one
The PUC selection in the Beovision 9 menu is called "Microsoft Xbox" is this the correct PUC entry for a Xbox One?
No, that's for the original xbox. You'll need an engineer visit to install new PUC tables on a BV9.
Where exactly is the IR receiver at the Xbox One?
From memory, it's near the eject button. • Re: Beocenter 2 CD clamper not opening

Just to add that sometimes this fault can be caused by dirt on one of the large cog in the gearbox assembly. Once the doors are removed you can see an optical sensor that is screwed to the top of the gearbox housing. If you remove this you can then clean the gear wheel below with a q-tip. As you rotate the gearbox you will see there light and dark sections on the gear wheel below that allow the sensor to detect the current position of the gearbox. Martin.

  • Re: Beosound 9000 and Tibo

Might also be worth considering connecting the BS9000 to the line input of the Tibo, and connecting the Powerlink speakers to the Tibo. The advantage of doing it that way around is that you don't need to turn the 9000 on to use streaming audio. I'm not sure if the Tibo supports 'sense' on it's line input or whether you'd need to use the app to select line-in when you wanted to use the BS9000. Martin.

  • Re: Additional IR receiver on Beovision 7

You can mount one of the round silver IR eyes outside the cubpoard (plugged into the back of the TV). This was commonly done when you had a BV7 in a setup with a projector where the motorised projector screen obscured the IR sensor when down. I'm in India at the moment so I can't check part numbers, but any dealer should be able to source the correct eye. Martin.

  • Re: How to avoid sync problems on a ML/NL setup.

Note that you'll specifically need the IR eye with 'JOIN' button as shown in the posts above, not the older type with a TIMER button or no buttons at all, as these are not compatible with the NL/NL Converter. Also be aware that this configuration will put the TV and Ouverture rooms in sync, but your BL2000 will be out of sync with the other two rooms when listening to CD / TAPE / RADIO from the Ouverture (but in sync when listening to TV sources). There isn't really a cost effective

  • Re: How to avoid sync problems on a ML/NL setup.

You could do as you have proposed, but I can see two potential issues with this: 1. The Wireless powerlink is designed for same room use, and tends to struggle through walls 2. You lose the ability to Play music in the room with the Ouverture, whilst someone else is watching television in the other room. You can however resolve the issue another way. Are the two products you've mentioned the only products in the setup? and is the NL/ML converter is in the same room as the Ouverture? If so you

  • Re: Cannot connect iphone to Besound ouverture or sound bar

Also, some 7 pin DIN to say twin RCA/Phono cables are wired for input, and some are wired for output, so you may need to check you have the correct type.
