  • Help with LUA code

Hello all, I am currently trying to implement the macro on the following link but I know nothing about LUA. Can someone help me. https://khimo.github.io/bli-guides/how-tos/howto-doorbell-tv-initial-st the goal is to have any tv in the house switched on at the home control screen when the door bell rings. Furthermore to have a button to open the door and after say 1 minute that the door has opened the tvs switch back to their previous state.

Hello again, I managed to make my tv turn on but it seams that the Home Control command does not reach the TV. Any help?

[quote user="Andrew"] In my opinion it is two separate things Mono for background music or entertaining is fine - people managed with it for years and years, and nowadays it sounds great and is portable. Added to the fact that these days people have so many distractions, a mobile phone is not only used for streaming music, but social media, texting etc. etc. etc. so the attention span and actual listening is not that great. Personally, if I want to listen, sit down, enjoy and really listen

  • Re: Condition scene sunset

I created two different modes for the BLI. Night and Day. Everyday at sunrise BLI goes to Day mode. To achieve so a macro was created. The event was sunrise and the action was to make BLI enter the Day mode. Everyday at sunset BLI goes to Night mode. The event was sunset and the action is to make BLI enter the night mode. When I then create a macro for leaving my house the event is my nest thermostat going to away mode. This triggers the following actions: All B&O products go to standby. All

An other idea came to my mind as I am trying to create and if and only if command for the BLI. I am experimenting with BLI modes. I have created a "day" mode and a "night" mode for the BLI and used the astronomical clock to make the BLI enter the different modes. In this way an event can trigger an action IF AND ONLY IF the BLI is in a specific mode. So let's consider that the sun sets at 1700. At 1700 the BLI will go to night mode. When I will come back from work the Nest

Hello chucky as far as I can understand there is no "if" or "if and only if" that can combine events, at least on the BLI I am using. Try checking the state of the doorbird. For example it should change state when you send the command to open the door. It might have a state available as event whilst the IR leds (night vision) are on. Given that they turn on while there is no light you can use it as an event.

Thanx for the responses guys!!!! Alexa is a very good solution indeed. I will try and order one from amazon as it is not sold in Greece. Yesterday I bumped onto this: https://rakocontrols.com/media/1140/ravir-data-sheet.pdf do you think it could be used to control volume? On the products sheet it says it should be used as a scene selector, BUT it also states that "In ‘multiroom’mode it is also possible to raise and lower individual dimmer channels" do you think it could be used

Thank you guys for all the replies! It took me some time but I finally done it. I used a lintronic on beorepeater mode and the problem is now solved. Next step is to add voice command, I have to admit I was a bit jealous that I have no voice control over my system :-) . I am quite familiar with google assistant. Do you think there is a way to add the BLI on the google assistant app? I have to admit that trying the Alexa assistant (iPhone app) is quite easy to setup and use but given I already have

It is even more complicated! V1 is in the home theater room. BLC is in the room where all cables end (something like a utility/server room). The reason why I want to do so is cause when the screen for the projector comes down it covers entirely the V1. As a result there is no reception of IR commands by the V1. Yesterday I managed to create a volume up macro by using an IR eye I have in my theater room which I connected to the BLC. But just volume up since I used the state update of the blc to control

Thanks for the reply beojeff.. To integrate the projector I am expecting an iTach ip2ir. I am planning to install a blaster and two low power eyes. The blaster is going to control the projector and my AC and the low power ones are going to control an NVidia Shield and a cable tv stb I have hidden away. I can control volume of V1 when the screen of the projector is down via the Beoliving app but my beloved wife is very fond of the beo6 and she prefers to use a "conventional" way to control
