I've owned lots of beolab speakers in the past and I must say that the beolab 5's are miles better than the lab9's or 20's. I decided last year to get a pair and it's the best decision I've ever made, and the best money I've ever spent. They are the best. Full stop. End of story. (except the Lab50's)

The cheapest pairs I've seen for sale on eBay was last year for around £6000, haven't seen any cheaper since then. Mine were B&O dealer ex display manufactured 2011 with 3 year warranty last year for £8500. They are the best speakers for the money if you ask me, I have heard of them having issues and your looking at an expensive repair, but they absolutely sound brilliant. Definitely get a pair, take your time, get a pair that have been loved.

i've had a Beolab 2 in the past for music, i thought it was ok. If you can't afford a Beolab 11 then get the 2, it' better than having nothing, it really helps with the deep bass with the beolab 4000,6000,8000 and 1.

I've got a pair of Beolab 5's, and I've heard a pair of Beolab 20's at a dealership and I can honestly say that the 5's are better by a mile. Hence the purchase of the 5's. Now that prices are coming down to a reasonable level I decided to buy a pair, you will not be disappointed.

My news about my faulty Beolab 5 is that a repair guy is coming round soon to replace the faulty EPROM unit. I've been told by B&O that should sort the issue. Glad you got yours sorted👍

I own a 6 year old pair of Beolab 5's and although i don't have experience listening to a new pair mine sound fantastic. They are brilliant in every way.
