• Beocenter 2300 to Beolab 3500 speaker Aux input?

Hi, I have a Beocenter 2300 which I have recently connected to a Beolab 3500 link speaker using a 1611 converter, it works well and sounds great. As i'm using the Aux port from the Beocenter 2300 to the converter, using a 7 pin datalink cable, then masterlink to the Beolab 3500. How can I connect a 3.5mm aux input to play through the speaker?? as there is no other Aux input to the Beocenter or Beolab units?? Any help would be appreiciated. Paul.

  • Life expectancy of Beolab speakers?

Hi, I am a long time owner of Bang & Olufsen equipment and I have quite a lot of the equipment around my house. I have 2 sets of Beolab 4000, one pair is was manufactured in 2002 the other pair 2003/4 and Beolab 3500 is 2002. I'm thinking about purchasing a secondhand Beolab 2 subwoofer for my music setup, the one i'm currently looking at was manufactured in 2002, which is about 13-14 years ago. I don't want to purchase it for it to have lots of problems like foam/rubber speaker problems

  • Beolab 7.1

Hi, I want to use a Beolab 7.1 as part of my music setup. I have a Beocenter 9300 connected to a Beolab 2 subwoofer then to 2 Beolab 4000 speakers I use mk3 powerlink cables and I want to connect the Beolab 7.1 to one of the Beolab 4000 speakers. Will this work ok? I've heard you might need a trigger unit?? Thanks Paul.

  • Advice with Powerlink cables outside??

Hi, I have a B&O music setup which includes a pair of Beolab 4000, Beolab 2 and a Beolab 7.1. I have had this setup for around 2 years now with no problems, recently I wanted to hide away all the cables, the only way to do this in my house because of reasons i'm not going into is to drill small holes through the wall and clip the powerlink and power cables to an outside wall. I am an electrician so i went ahead and drilled all the holes in the wall and hide all the cables, I sealed up all

  • Beolab speaker questions.

Hi All, I've got a question about Beolab speakers and would like to know your opinions. I'm in my 40's and the music i mostly listen to is dance music with heavy bass, groups like Faithless, New Order, famous DJ's like DJ Tiesto, I mainly use a Technic's 1210 mk2 turntable, CD's from the 9300 and mp3's from my phone. So i have a Beocenter 9300 and a couple of years ago i brought a pair of Beolab 4000, they sound good, until you crank up the sound level......so i purchased

  • Re: Beolab speaker questions.
Beolab 9 has about 700 watt each. The Beolab 4000 has about 50 watt each. Beolab 9 can play very loud, and you dont need a subwoofer. There is enough bass in the Beolab 9. They go down to 30 Hz with full power.
OK, if your looking at watts then lets have a look - Beolab 9 - 600W per speaker = 1200W My set up - Beolab 4000 - 59 watts per speaker, x4 = 236W Beolab 7.1 - 720W total (6 drivers) Beolab 2 - 850W total Grand total - 1806W Please note, all these above
Th e proof of the p ud ding i s in t he eating. And you must 'eat the pudding' at home to decide, what is best for you there. MM
I completely agree, it is very loud, after an hours listening to dance music my ears are ringing!!, But loudness is not the only thing, I want better quality and depth, so beolab 5's are being considered. I will do some homework, maybe go and have a listen to them, and read a lot of posts about them on here, great

  • WANTED - Beosound 4 wall bracket accessory.

Hi, I have recently purchased a Beosound 4 with the wall bracket, unfortunately the previous owner has lost a grey plastic half round cap which goes at the top round end nearest to the wall. If anyone has a spare one please can I buy it off you? Please let me know, Thanks. Paul.
