• Re: BeoLiving news & support from Khimo!

Would there by any chance be an update that makes the BLGW BeoRemote Halo ready. Søren
Hi Soren, As Bw789 said, the answer is no. The BLGW is not in active development anymore and only receives security updates. Sometimes new drivers are made available because the BLI driver is compatible, but this is not the case with the Halo integration.
Would it really be very difficult

Thank MM NL is something i use alot, and don’t want to be without it.. so i can ex buy a Bluesound Node and Connect it to my Moment, and it will also play NL.?! That’s just great ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜
Anything that is connected to any of the line input on the NL devices can be distributed over NL. Nowadays a lot use that for distributing the sound from a turntable. You can - if you want - connect the Node (as an example)

I'm not sure.. That's why I am asking for help I think they are connected thru my Beovision Avant .. How do you connect your Roon ready device to your BO speakers?
Input selection on the 18s cant be selected via the B&O app in the way that it can be done with the 50s. Instead the 18s have a manufacturer set list of input priorities, but you can achieve pretty much the same thing

So I could connect a Bluesound Node or simular Roon ready device to line in on my Moment? And then it will work like it should with the speakers also turning on/off..? And the Moment will I assume start when I start playing some music on the Roon ready device..?
Not sure how your speakers are connected, but do you even need the Moment if you are going to use Roon? I ditched my Moment when I switched over 6 months ago [/quote

  • Re: Roon

One question to the Roon users. I have in my mainlistening area a Moment and some Beolab 18+19. How can I connect and start playing Roon/Qobuz/Tidal on this system? Do I need a kind of DAC connected to the Moment thru the analog input? Today I have Roon on my MacBook Pro, but I am thinking on getting av NUC and a external storage for my local music in the future..

Thanks, I did see the other thread just after I posted my question.. I suppose it's some other dac solutions that can be used, that not burns of all my cash? I suppose that a Raspberry Pi has a lower audio streaming technology then a Linn.. What will you recommend ?

  • Re: Roon

Hello. I am looking into Roon, and I wonder if it would be possible to connect a Raspberry Pi with Roon Bridge on it to a BLGW or BLI so it can play on my NL devices? If not, what kind of an Roon endpoint would you recommend using to connect to B&O speakers? Is it better to just use the CC over the airplay for better quality.. The B&O isn't cheap, so why being satisfied with low res audio quality??

  • Re: Beosound Level - new soundbar?
B&O must be pretty pleased with themselves. They actually get to launch a product on the date they have chosen without too much information getting out beforehand to dilute the launch.
+1
