• Re: BEOVISION ECLIPSE

The problem when watching content from Apple TV or the native app is that the content itself is mainly recorded in 23.976 fps and the TV is upscaling it to 50 hz. When in true cinema the picture only shows 24 fps and is in my opinion not as smooth as the 50 hz motion handling the Sony performs. When watching the World Cup in 50fps and 4K the LG showed us what it could do. But with content of 1080p and 23.976 fps it doesn't really does the job in my opinion. The sound and design is amazing though

Ive tried the 5 Ghz and 2,4. Also hardwired it but get drop-outs with that aswell. Apple TV runs fine on wifi. Need to have a stable wifi/ethernet on the TV itself because of the iptv software Im running. Is this an issue for the earlier versions only?
Hallo Fidse, I have put my Apple TV inside the plastic part of the ECLIPSE, Rock steady wifi no problem. The LG wifi is rubbish, had the same problem on my C7 65" and the internet is filled with the problem on forums. My Eclipse turn directly on to Apple TV, I never use the built in streaming.
Ive contacted my BeO dealer 1.5 years ago about the wifi issue. Its so unstable that I really cant use any IP-TV services at all. Do you know if its hardware
For which Eclipse version is this recommendable? Mine is from end 2017? Will the B&O dealer contact me if my Eclipse has a hdmi board which needs an upgrade? That is the least I should expect from B&O customer care!?
Contact the dealer yourself. Every model prior to February 2018.
Hi, was it an "easy" task for the repairman to do? Did they put screen and soundcenter apart when doing the job? How long time did it take? Best Regards Martin
With the 55" they only need to open the black part underneath the TV and some part of the Soundbar. On the 65" they need to remove the screen. Took 20 minutes to perform.

Got an answer from the repair-man. Vedr. der skal skiftes et modul, samt 2 stk kabler i din soundbar, B&O regner med at kunne leverer delen omkring uge 24. English: A module must be replaced, as well as 2 cables in your soundbar, B & O expects to be able to deliver the part around week 24. So its not the whole Soundbar that will be switched out. Anyone else that has a repair planned?
Could you post your conversation with B&O, so that i can see ecxactly what you asked them, and what they replied?
Got this answer from Bang & Olufsen: The repair requires a hardware update from SoundCenter, which means that the authorized service partner must perform the repair. Replacing the HDMI module (also known as the DSSE) is treated as a standard warranty. To facilitate the case processing, please provide the following
Could you elaborate on this, please? What is a “DSS modul” and is it only faulty in certain Eclipses, since Emil has got it working on his? Thanks.
Update on the issue. The problem lies in the DSS module that will be swapped out for a new one. So you guys that have these issues should contact your dealer ASAP.

My Ps4 is still not working. I tried all the “fixes” suggested on here, and the screen still sometimes goes black, and then comes on again after 30-60 seconds or so, pretty useless when playing FIFA online... It works perfectly when plugged straight into the panel, only thing about it, it that it doesn’t automaticaly switch to the input when i turn in my PS.
Talked to Bang & Olufsen today.
