  • Re: B&O regrets

None at all. Our older items remain clean, functioning and stored away in closets. I replaced my parents' Beomaster 2400 the other day, with a fully functioning Beomaster 3000 we had stored away, and they are very pleased. They have a computer with the Beoplayer program I installed for them, but refuse to join the digital or streaming music age beyond that. Our Beocom 1400: That sat in our study for a number of years. It was noticed a few times, admired constantly, and then well received as a

You should connect your Apple product to the Beosound 1 via the AUX socket underneath. You can see this on page four of the Beosound 1 manual, which is available from BEOWORLD, should you not have it. I would suggest a double-check of your cable, the IPAD connection end, and the AUX connection end. If it persists, try another cable set. I use this at a rental property of ours in Brasil for a Beosound 6, IPAD, Laptop, ASUS tablet, and for SAT & local television. The Beosound 1 also makes a very

Dave; Loading your music albums onto the SD cards is very easy. Add the free BEOPLAYER program to you Mac or PC. Reboot. It will then find and add your music (and photos) to that program. You can also "push" the program by clicking on the right to SETUP, and then SCAN. Once this is done you simply insert an SD card, pull up BEOPLAYER, and select N.MUSIC option. Now slide your mouse to the LEFT side of the screen. You will see your album collection load. One of the options at the top LEFT

You can indeed place a large number of music albums on a 2GB SD card. If you don't already have a remote control, I would suggest an inexpensive Beo 4 for your usage. It will greatly extend your use of your new Beosound 4 operation. At times that is all I use for weeks (including Home Theatre sound via the selection of A.AUX), unless I want to change an SD card. Between the same music album on CD, N.Music, or an SD card, I prefer the SD card sound. And again, you can take the same sound with

  • Re: b&o 1900 receiver problem

Gracias Amigo, I had been working with a local trying to find those parts for my original 1900 and 2400 Beomasters. I'll hand the parts business with Dillen as a fellow Beoworld member.

No problem. Quite understandable. The day I bought ours at a local B&O store, a woman came in quite upset for the same reason. I thought " wait a minute," and yielded the floor to the other customer. After listening calmly and patiently to her frustrating experience, the wise sales representative took it into the back area with a knowledgeable wink to me. He returned later showing that yes, her Beosound 3 was indeed able to charge properly. He then pointed out ( ever so gently ) that

    1. Standard FM aerial, assuming you are living in a DAB-serviced region. 2. 2 GB SD card max. There is a work around for larger SD cards involving a software upgrade, but I have not added this, as I also use the same SD cards to play in our Beosound 3 radios. We can use the same cards in both devices, and carry them anywhere in the world we have B&O equipment, in a zippered SD card wallet. This is a good radio/CD/SD player, which will connect to a computer for N.RADIO music sources. Our use is

I've had the same experience recently. The glass door opens, but when LOAD is pushed, the door goes up and then immediately slides back down again. So no more playing of any CD.That is not a great loss as I prefer the SD cards, but it is not functioning as it was intended. Only the FM radio and SD card options now play.

Good Show Andy ! I really like your avatar. Winter sailing is best complimented by Musto, layering, a hot shower, and Glenlivet.
