  • Re: bv11 webradio starting from deep-standby problem

thanks for all of your suggestions, but nothing helped :( i now have put the bv11 outside the Firewall of the router, into direct fire of the internet. and it works perfect. that means that the bv11 needs some opened ports, to get reached from the outside at once. (some Routers are secured strong and others are a bit less restrictiv. i will try to get an answer by b+o which ports should be openend, because i would like to put the bv11 back behind the Firewall.

  • Re: bv11 webradio starting from deep-standby problem

@ millemissen we are speaking of about 50watt power consumption in standby, instead of .5watt in deep standby. the whole bv11 needs only 80watt as webradio (without the connected speakers).

  • bv11 webradio starting from deep-standby problem

hallo, if i start the tv directly from standby with Webradio, YouTube, webmedia..., (all webbased sevices), i have to wait more than 5 minutes till the program starts. sometimes it does not start at all (the tv-system starts but not the Service), and i have to switch to tv-mode and then after a while back to Webradio. it seems the webmodul needs a lot of time to connect. does anybody have the same Problems, or does have any idea how to get it working better? grüße horst

  • Re: Multiple functions at once?

you may use beo5 and beo6, they both have macros. or use converters like irtrans and lintronic. both solutions have advantages and disadvantages: -beo5/6 - no further equipment, only beo5/6 will do -ir/lt - you need the converters, ir eyes and transmitters, the signal is "outside" b+o, but you may use any ir-remotecontrol you want (beos and others).

my dealer told me to wait till summer befor buying a moment. he talked about the numerous software problems the moment has, and it took longer than talking about the positiv aspects of the moment. he is not happy at this time. thats really fair and i will wait for the summer update.

"What I understand from B&O is that Moment first look for Album-art from the NAS, and if not found there look at Gracenote." @ hiort that is what i wanted to say, and therefor you can manually paste the artfile into the right folder or embed it into the soundfile. mp4 is a apple file format based on mp3, in case of sound. i do not know if albumart is included; nor if moment could read this format. you can convert all your mp4 soundfiles within i tunes into mp3 format, and then easily

  • Re: BeoSound Moment

@ hiort normaly the dlna server first looks into the subfolder where the artists album is stored. there he searches a file named folder.jpg or cover.jpg. this file contains the artwork of the artists album. if there is no such file found, he searches in the internet. you could manually put such a file into the appropriate folder. in case the artwork is not found automaticly or you want a special own artwork: wether by searching the internet, scan a cd-lp cover or take a picture with your camera.
