Hey guys, Found something intresting: http://solutions.3m.com/wps/portal/3M/en_US/Electronics_NA/Electronics/Products/Electronics_Product_Catalog/~/3M-Electrically-Conductive-Adhesive-Transfer-Tape-9703?N=8704978+3294001720&rt=rud I found a new hope… just have to transfer the signals with a fine pitch ribbon. Will try to get a piece of this, and put directly the LCD to the panel to try it out! Or anyone having time to attempt repair would nice to post it here!

  • Re: Beocenter 9000 Service Manual

Hello, this is the closest topic to my problem. I have the manual of the BeoCenter 9000. I need to repair the board number 64 on the power supply transformer, former person burned it and killed some traces... My manual says 1N4002 for both diodes D3 and D4. Is my manual incorrect, or the diodes are other types? I have seen photos of the PSU, and the two diodes are different on the pictures, so they can't be the same type. Do the 8500s, 9000s and 9500s share the same boards? are the differences

  • MPAV 9000 repair

Hello Members, i just bought a second hand, sadly ruined MPAV 9000. No sliding doors, missing lower pulley mechanism, and - the main problem - no power. I opened up the unit, and the main pcb (power supply, with masterlink, aerial connectors ) has some physical damage. The secondary side fuse F6 is toast(250v 1A), and a diode is missing. The missing diode is the D27, SMD one. Can you please tell me what type the diode is, and how its orientated? helping points would be the C10 and the F6 fuse about

  • BeoVision Avant + BeoLab 8000 sound problems

Hello! My question will be a bit strange, that's why I ask it on the workbench, maybe it's hardware-related. As a proud owner of a 28" Mk1 50Hz Avant i managed to make a home system, with an Ouverture and two Beolab 8000 speakers. 8000s are connected to Avant PowerLink connectors. If I listen to a CD, or my computer through Camcord (3x aux), i get a funny feeling about the sound. In Speaker 1 mode when only Avant speakers are used sound is OK. In Speaker 2 mode when BL8000s are used

  • Avant 28 or AV5 external sound AUX in

Hello! Maybe a lame question, but I have to ask, can't find any answers about it: I want to connect external sound source to my Avant or AV5, to use it/them as an amp. The solution was to hook my laptop to the camcorder port. But this is a tied thing then, I had to leave my computer there, it needed the picture signal as well to switch to CAMCORD mode. As a matter of fact, if i listen to music, i move around the flat, there is no need to have picture, none the less, to stress the picture tube

  • BeoVision Avant 28" Mk.1 - slow response, power-up problems

Hello All! I had an earlier post about this problem, but it has been deleted - who knows why... So, my Mk.1 Avant TV - VCR, type 8111 - has some real strange bugs. When I got it, it worked nice, for more than one year. Then, more and more often, it has slowed down. It would not respond to the remote (BL1000) at once, maybe minutes later. After switching on, it had normal operation for about 2 minutes. After that some deflection problems occured, so I recapped the whole PSU and deflection board with
