Hi Seanie, Today I downloaded the tracks you mentioned (high quality) and played them on my speakers. With and without the BL11. I cranked up the volume very high and there was no clipping. No orange led at all. Perhaps you play louder, but this was very loud for me. With the BL11 the music was louder and deeper. Just try to adjust your BL11 to the BL12-3. I was always told and understood that a wall setting will give more bass than a corner setting of the speakers. This was confirmed by playing

Hi, Just to make sure that you mount the speakers solid to the mount on the wall Use a long torx screwdriver to fasten the speakers on the wallmount. Screw the four screes fast. Very important. This reduces vibrating of the speakers when playing at high volume. Now just play with some musicsettings. I also got used to the alt- speakers now. In the beginning they sounded harsh, but know very detailed. Take your time for your choice. The speakers look awesome on your walls in the musicroom. It 's

  • XML file for Yamaha NP-S2000 networkplayer

Hi all, I'm looking for an XML file for the Yamaha NP-S2000 networkplayer. The player can be controlled by Apple apps and Android apps. I use the Apple apps. Just looking for a simply XML file to switch the player on and off ( in stand- by ) with a Beo5. Has someone developed such a file? Will a general Yamaha receiver XML file work just for the on/off with this player? Please let me know. Thanx in advance! Beofan53

  • Re: Beotime - working with Lutron lights?
As far as I can see there is no possibility to turn on the lights when the alarm goes on. You can however turn on the light with the Beotime even when it is connected to the Lutron Rania.
It is possible to turn the lights on (together with the alarm) with the BeoTime. You just do not need a MLCW. Handle like this: - hold and press the menu-button for 10 seconds - then, keep holding/pressing the menu button, and pull/push the sidewaybutton 4 times in and

This is very diappointing Seanie_230! I have played my music, including tracks with some decent basses, rather loud, without distortion. My master is a Beosound4, connected to a BV10. Mostly I play modern jazz and popmusic. Classic for the night. I use the soundsetting to flat ( bass, treblle, loudness). Probably not as loud as you play music. Try it with your BC9300 with flat soundsettings. When you will play music with the 9300 and passive speakers, like the Kef's, then probably you will get
It's not the flat sounds it's the fact that when playing it at any volume the speakers cannot play this music without going into orange state.
I've seen on the photos that you made your own wires. Are these cables correct wired with the RJ45 plug and powerlinkcable? Never had orange lights on the speakers, even on a loud volume. I use the original cables that came with the speakers 3 mtr. One I swapped with an original 5 mtr cable. I will try

The alarmbel of the BeoTime cannot be switched off. One reason is that is "always" awake you, even when the musicsystem does not swtch on or when you did not wake up, by just turning on the lights. Thats how b&o developed this beautiful timepiece!

Ok, this is just an exclusion. The cables seem to be ok. I'm looking for causes that the orange led goes on at any volume. Did you connect the speakers to your Beovision and played the same music and loudness? Just to make sure it is not you Beocenter that causes the problems. Will the orange led goes on on both speakers? I am still looking for a solution ... . . . Till now I cannot reproduce the problem. I will play you tracks later and will see if the same haapens to my speakers. Do not look
