  • Re: Flash your B&O - new thread!

Yep! A brand new BV10-46. This chair is also used in the B&O (online) catalogue. It was designed in 1956 and is still a masterpiece!

  • B&O Playmaker?

Will this be the first, and new, Airplay Beonet for multiroom placement? Probably the successor of Beolink? Looking forward to it! Streaming music through the whole house, no cables, and a perfect sound with the ease of controlling it with your BeoRemote. Let's wait, see and hear . . . Very interesting!

  • Re: Beomedia 1 in standby?

Thanks for the answers. But, I have the Beomedia 1 in my setup and it is only connected via masterlink. No computers with Beoport or Beoconnect software are running. When I listen to Internetradio and I shut down the system by pressing the standby-button on a remote, then I expect the BM1 shuts down after a while in standby. Not a complete shutdown otherwise its not possible to get Internetradio or whatever in, for example, a linkroom or at a startup. Is there a setting in the maintenance menu where

  • Re: Speaker Placement

It is not logical to place the speakers behind you. It then looks like the newsreader is talking behind you. Even for music this is not logical. At a concert you look at the stage where the music coms to your face and not from behind. The stageimage is totally gone. Try to wallmount the speakers or place them on floorstands next to the television. The best position is that the tweeters are at earheight and in line with the speakers of the television. Place not to high, not to low. This will give

  • Re: Is it possible to upload current config on my Beo5 to new laptop?...

This is correct Keith. I use many laptops and the only thing I have to do is copy the configuration.xml-file. This has always worked for me Put on your new/other pc the file in the correct directory, otherwise it won't work and you have to start from the beginning.

  • Timeouts and a new way

Mostly I use the app for my iPad. Posting is not reliable. Therefore I select the complete text, copy it, and then post it. Just to make sure not the type the post again and again. Posting with Chrome and IE8 on a pc/laptop seems to go better. I also have timeout-errors while trying to read posts on my iPhone and iPad. Probably the apps are not stable. This evening it happened many times again on my iPad. Edit: tried to react onna post, but no postings are sent with my iPad. Tried more than 10 times

  • Re: Beolab 12 Project

Hi Seanie, Today I downloaded the tracks you mentioned (high quality) and played them on my speakers. With and without the BL11. I cranked up the volume very high and there was no clipping. No orange led at all. Perhaps you play louder, but this was very loud for me. With the BL11 the music was louder and deeper. Just try to adjust your BL11 to the BL12-3. I was always told and understood that a wall setting will give more bass than a corner setting of the speakers. This was confirmed by playing
