• Beolink Wireless 1 Type 1780

Sure you can. Just connect a (short) ML-cable from the Wireless1 to the Beolink Passive and connect any passive speaker. With an IR-eye you can control you music and sources with your remote. No futher cables are required. Have not tried it with only a powerlinkcable from the wireless to the passive without a ML-cable. The above first option works fine.

  • Re: Backlight dimming

Just have a look at this link (in Dutch). http://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tv_met_led-backlight In English look here. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Backlight I think it is not wise to switch it off.

  • Re: beomaster 4500

It depends on what kind of needle you use with your turntable. MM-needles/elements will do fine with DAP Stage, but MC-elements can cause problems like a too low sound, hum etc.

  • Re: Beolink Wireless 1 Type 1780

Hi, You will always need two Wireless 1's. The first one is the transmitter and the second one, the one you will connect with the Passive, is the receiver. You can select this function on the Wireless 1. After that you can add more transceivers in other rooms. This works perfectly.

  • Re: Controlling the volume on a Mac connected to Beolabs through external...
Hi, I'am using a HRT Streamer II for playing music from my pc (iTunes) to a pair of BL4. Excellent sound quality, and using the volumecontrol of the pc. In my workroom I'am using the HRT iStreamer, connected to a BM2400. Great sound! Not tried using the volume on my iThings, but will test this later at the day.
Hi, With the volumeknob or even the slider on my iThings I can change the volume. So not only on the BM and PC, but also with Apples Fruitthings

  • Re: BC2 & Beolink & A. AUX

I have done the upgrade to SW 1.6 on the ML/MCL by my dealer. Aux can now be played in every linkroom, including Nradio and Nmusic. This is the solution and really works good.

  • Re: Option Setting

When you want sound in option 1 or 4 on your bc, you should connect the vmem and dtv to the analog input of your bv. the digital connection of your sources via hdmi does not work with masterlink. Try on your remote by pressing av and then the source. In option 4 you should give the command link-av-vmen/dtv.

  • Re: Beolink passive amp just red light!

To use aux with your passive, the passive should at least have sw version 1.5. Even better is sw 1.6. This should work, otherwise the green light switches to a red dot. I have ordered a sw 1.6 module at my dealer. He placed it in and it works very well now.
