• Re: BeoVision Contour

I don't think the price is outrageous. The Contour costs 40.000 DKR, which includes the wall mount and a Beoremote. The cheapest Stage cost 11.000 DKR A 48" CX panel cost 10.000 DKR Beoremote cost 2.200 DKR The wall mount is about 5.000 DKR (The Contour floor stand is 7.600 DKR and the Stage floor stand is 5000 DKR) Which equals 28.200 DKR for a DIY solution. In other words the B&O frame and packaging costs about 12.000 DKR (1600€). 1600€ is not cheap, but it is not expensive

Quick math on the price tag: LG panel is about 1500€ Stage is about 1500€ So you pay a premium of about 3000€ for the frame and stand (and maybe remote?). It’s not cheap, but not crazy expensive either. There seems to be a lot of aluminum. Personally I think the design is to “heavy” and not elegant. But maybe that will change when I see it live (as with so many of B&Os products). As many others in this thread the TV is not for me based solely on the lack of PL

The four dots only show up when you interact with the assistant or light up permanently red if the microphone is muted. In the latter case just use some black electrical tape to cover them up.

I've had the A9 mk1 (essentially a mk2 with less sources - Airplay1 only as Spotify connect was dropped), and currently have a A9 mk4. The mk4 have more power and two additional rear facing speakers for a more room filling sound. It also have an automatic room correction, where as the Mk2 is limited to three different modes (free, wall, corner). People talk about losing Spotify connect, but that is not an issue. The A9 mk4 supports Chromecast which is fully supported in every Spotify application

The best solution is to install a Chromecast Audio (if you can find one).

  • Re: If you could ask B&O to make one product just for you....
As do many, but it wont be priced just above the Stage (if it ever comes) It would be double the price - i.e. closer to 3 / 3/5k.
Maybe I should have been a little more clear on what I meant with just above. The Harmony Sound Center (incl. front) costs about 6-7 times as much as the Stage. So a Stage like Sound Center with better sound to about double the price point would be very nice. It would also allow the dealers to sell more speakers, as the current

I want more GVA enabled products. It should take so long to update the M3 and M5. And an universal sound center (similar to Harmony) but at a price point just above the Stage. A Stage like product but with the ability to connect existing B&O speakers.

  • Re: New B&O TV BeoVison Harmony

The Beovision Harmony is added to the B&O AR app. It's available in two version: Floor and wall mount. The wall mount is motorized in the same way as the floor stand, i.e. it moves up and the speakers fold out.

  • Re: New Beoplay A9

I've had my A9 since the initial release. Was one of the first to get it. And I too has experienced the popping noises. It seems to be related to temperature changes which makes the plastic expand at different rates. But to be fair I cannot remember when it has happened last, and to be honest I really don't see why people makes such a big deal out of it? We can all agree that it shouldn't happen, but it being a deal breaker seems like an overreaction.
