• Re: Display issue with Avant 55 NG
One half of the screen shows one image and the second half shows another and everything a bit garbled.
I also had this issue with an Avant NG when it turned on with an Apple TV 4K being the initial source. However, for me, this issue went away after the last software update to the Avant NG, which I believe was about 6 months ago (plus of minus a couple of months).

  • Looks like B&W is looking to invade B&O’s space…

Reading the below linked article from engadget.com, it looks to me like B&W is looking to invade B&O’s space. From the article, it looks like they have cutting edge silicon valley technology with modern trends, designs, and interfaces in mind, are very well funded, have solid leadership, and sufficient notoriety. The new Formation line looks to compete directly with B&O, and this is just the first "phase" of what is effectively a brand new B&W company. With B&O

  • Re: beo sound moment

Unfortunately, my Moment just experienced exactly the same issue. That is, my Moment was working fine when I unplugged the power cable of the Soundheart with the Jukebox still on the Soundheart. After a couple of weeks with the Soundheart being without power, I went to resetup the Moment. The Jukebox was unresponsive, but I assumed it was discharged so I plugged in the power cable of the Soundheart. After days of trying to charge the Jukebox, the Jukebox would not come back to life (although the

  • Has the Beosound 35 been discontinued?

Has the Beosound 35 been discontinued? I don't see it on B&O's website anymore (at least in the US).

  • Re: Is stereo still a thing? aka. Is one BEOPLAY A9 MKII enough?

Considering how popular stereo headphones are, I’d say stereo sound as a format is definitely very much still a thing. Also, I do believe there is a strong interest in stereo sound in the automobile environment. That said, it does seam like dedicated home stereo setups have seen notable reductions in interest, with the number of available systems that offer a true stereo sound experience dwindling to meet the decreasing demand. It would appear that an increasing number of people find it quite

  • Re: Mesh WIFI and Moment issues-- BO Design issue??

I also have a Pakedge system at my house with 3 of the WX-1 Access Points managed by an NK-1 Wireless Controller. I'm not sure what Pakedge devices you have, but its my understanding that (at least in the US) Pakedge does not have a "Mesh" WiFI system and instead offers multiple access point systems that are collectively managed (but I could be wrong). Thus, at first I'd first confirm that you do in fact have a "Mesh" Wifi system. Also, I can tell you that I have had nothing

  • Re: Question about Beosound Moment and Multiroom

As opposed to an expand function for the moment, what I'm really interested in is a "target" function where I'm able to target the playback from the moment to any of one of the various beolink devices I have throughout my home. My phone is OK for solo use, but when I'm listening to music with others or entertaining, the interface of the moment is very much appreciated. After playing around with the moment, I wonder if there is a work around. My Moment is linked to my 2014 Avant

  • Re: Question about Beosound Moment and Multiroom

Thank you to Lyle and the others that have responded to clarify this issue for me. What prompted my original post was the attached image from the article: https://www.engadget.com/2015/08/05/bang-and-olufsen-beolink-multiroom/ At first glance, the screen on the moment in the image appeared to be an expand screen. However, upon closer inspection, it is just as Lyle and others have described. That is, the screen is a "link" (or "join"...B&O seams to use the terms interchangeably

  • Question about Beosound Moment and Multiroom

I have a question about the Beosound Moment and Multiroom. I've see lots of images and videos showing the Beosound Moment having Multiroom controls. However, most of the time, mine does not. When I first setup my Beosound Moment, I recall that I had Multiroom control for about a day (I believe it was the first public version 2 software) and then couldn't find it again. And then when I upgraded to the public version 2.2 software, I had multiroom control just after the update, but it has since

  • Re: Beovision avant ng

With respect to the Avant, keep in mind that 3D is only available for 1080P and not 4K. The 4K standard doesn’t support 3D. That said, a lot of media boxes (e.g., Apple TV 4K, Roku, etc.) will automatically scale 1080P content to 4K (regardless if it’s 3D material). I had this issue when trying to use Plex with 1080p 3D material. I didn’t even know my media box was upscaling everything to 4K. I reset the resolution to 1080P and 3D immediately worked. Try setting the output resolution of your media
