  • Re: V1 Visionclear technology

That's very interesting. It's great to see that B&O is continually looking to adapt new technologies in its products. At the end of the day the V1 has a very good picture - and something I'm sure will continue to improve with continual investment and to an extent SW updates.

Hi John, Congrats on the V1. Excellent purchase. I will be taking mine in white.. I think B&O have made a seriously great product here. It's different, pretty much up to latest spec and outperforms a lot of other well known, established brands. It also does it at a realistic price. When I was involved with B&O, the BV7-40 was about $20k Ozzie money. Thats quite a chunk. Now its about $4.5k....! So for B&O, a steal in comparison for the same size. I think the TV is really excellent

  • Re: New BeoPlay V1-40 or used BV7-40 Mk 3?

I like the V1. It's an economical choice, with a fresh face. I don't think it was ever intended to compete with the BV7, which I love. But it's priced and designed accordingly. What I like about the V1 is it is showing the world that B&O is fighting back - new video engine, better interface and working with Apple. It's got a superb picture, great sound and looks different. It's a bit like my old Fiat Coupe, some people loved it, some hated it. I naturally loved it - different

  • Re: B&O Play TV coming this quarter

Store revamp is coming for Play as it establishes itself. The V1 is a great TV, distinctive, raw, Bauhaus, fresh and appealing. Not to everyones taste, but still a significant move for BangPLay. It's showing it's a concept to revitalise the brand. It will always be an edgy part of the brand, experimental, fun and quality. The picture is great. Very, very good. Watch something decent on the TV, play it hard and it works well. Not long ago BV7-40 was an astronomical price, now everyone can
