  • Beosound moment beolab 6000 going wirelesd

just brought a beosound moment on ebay. Had a great deal half the price of the normal ones being sold on ebay. Anyway to get to the point, i would like to connect it to my beolab 6000 via beosound reciever 1. My question is does the moment transmit wifi to speakers and if so would it work with the beolab receiver 1 without the need of buying a separate transmitter?

  • Re: Beolab 6000 Rubber Surrounds - AudioFriends

Just in case anyone is reading this, I just redid the rubber on my beolab 6000 if you take your time it is an easy diy job.I bought a kit off of ebay from a guy in Holland. Comes with 4 rubber surrounds and the glue, you just need patience and in my opinion the results were great. Deeper bass respnse very happy with the results. You can find a video on youtube how to do it.

  • Beogram 4500

Hi Dillen, 1. No it wasnt missinformation the motor is making a noise and the platter was spinning, but after opening up the deck on the hinges I then discovered the issue with the string tension for the tone arm. Anyway just want to say thank you so much for your help I will attempt to fix it using your great advice. 2. The belts look good, although think they havent been changed in over 10 years so as part of my maintenance I think it would be an idea to change them, can you give me an idea of

  • Re: Beogram 4500

Hi Noticed another issue whilst opening open the deck. The cord that winds around the tone arm was not threaded. After a closer look the thread is tensioned by a sping which is attached to a piece of plastic that moves on a guide bar. But the small bit of plastic the tension spring is attached to has snapped off. Any ideas how I fix this?

Hi Dillen, Yes the sound is still present if I take the platter off with the black center down rotating the subplatter. Does this given a hint to the issue?

Hi Dillen, Thanks for you speedy reply. 1. When you say the record sensing system makes the sound, blocking the mech and gears from engaging. Im not sure what you mean as the deck will play records it just produces this rubbing sound. Which you can hear weather a record is on the platter or not.
