• Re: Beosound Core, wireless speakers and non B&O TV

Not sure if this works but for the not Wisa enabled speaker you could use a WISA receiver. I have four of hem for my back speakers (BL3). If this makes sense form a budget point of view might me a diffeent question. But also seeing the pricepoint and size of the device from the Wisa organization, it can not be that hard to integrate it into a stage.

  • Re: Beolab 17 eol - will there be an alternative for a 5.1 config?

There are not so many choices these day if you want new speakers. The BL17 are great speakers and if you can justify the looks I would put them in the front with no doubt. If you go used, BL3 are one of the best surround speakers in terms of size, placement options and price. Even they will outperform the BL6000. I have a pair BL3 in the back and BL4 as hights. Which brings you to an other option, BL4 as ceiling speaker as there is a cailing mount available as well. As speakers on floor level they

    I did the u
Kawo, could I ask what Beovisions you had paired previously with your BL5 and BL3s? I’m interested in your thoughts on the difference in sound quality from the 5 & 3 jumping from older BVs to Avant to Eclipse to Harmony. I have the same speaker setup but connected to an older BV11-55 and I’m wondering how much better the 5.0 experience might get with a newer TV?
I did upgrade from a Beosystem 3 with a BV4-50 and BL7.4 as center speaker

Congrats Emil! Great setup, close to mine (Harmony CX 77" BL5 plus BL3 back/BL4 ceiling.) I still have a JVC projector from my old Beoliving setup, you may still miss the big sreen. 77" is awsome, but I already startet investigating how a 88" OLED would fir into my setup... I did a brief test to hook up my blu ray player HDMI audio only out to the Harmony and have the video output of the Blu Ray feed into the projector. worked fine. No delay in audio vs video. so also a potential upgrade

  • Re: BEOVISION ECLIPSE V2 Coming April 2020

What is missing here is the possibility to control the sound center via an web/smartphone app like the Stage. The Soundcenter for both Harmony and Eclipse are very limited in the current B&O app. You need to have the WebOS App on the LG to control it. If this can be solved, I guess mo problem at all.

  • Re: Advice for best Surround Speaker Setup for a Harmony: Ceiling/Hight...

We need to keep this discussion alive :-) I think the potential of the Trueimage processor with the detailed possibilities to adjust the sound in many ways is completely underrated. However, this is not easy if you are not the master Geoff himself, I just started my journey with it. I would love to have a workshop with the Tonmeister to fully understand it. So much fun to play with it With my setup, I can't wait to have my BL5 back into service and start shaking walls again :-).

  • Re: Advice for best Surround Speaker Setup for a Harmony: Ceiling/Hight...

I took the opportunity to play with some of the ideas and thoughts Geoff mentioned in his Sound Guide. As I had to move one pair of the Bl3 from the back (7.0 setup) to the front due to my BL5 waiting for repair to a 5.0 setup. As I have no subwoofer I adjusted some of the bass management settings to have the Harmony's loudspeaker provide more of the low end. So 4x BL3 plus the Harmony. Quite impressive how much this setup with the little BL3 moves the air and sound! As I still have a pair if

  • Re: Beovision Harmony with silver walnut covers

Your dealer could order it for you, it will be (as far as I recall) roughly 800 Euro more and 6-8 weeks lead time. They will build it for you.
