• Re: Share price drop?

With regards to Play, where are all the sales coming from? Dealers I speak to only sell small amounts and I hear from B&O usa representatives that product returns from online sites are high. Have B&O sold large numbers of units to online sellers such as Apple, Amazon etc? In order that they can sell the products. If so, the sales figures in the first year of this third party sales of B&O products could be distorting the overall figures. This is even more worrying as next years figures
The company I work for has gone from 56p all the way down to 16p three years ago, and now it's up near £1.50. Historically it was £2.50. Still the same company with the same assets etc. Unless you have large amounts of shares its meaningless and largely irrelevant. I think there might be some great products looming on the horizon, so get them whilst they are cheap! Beovision 10-46, Beolab 6000, Beovision 8-26, Beosound 8, Beocom 2, Beotime, a shed load of A8's

Today I'm on a course using a system that outputs very high quality audio and also includes streaming from many online sevices including iCloud user interface can easily be built on many systems. Also easy to distribute to up to 96 zones! can integrate all video device sound and control every thing much easier with a better interface than any B&O device. As a dealer I am quite shocked how dis-functional and disjointed the B&O range currently is. It does break my heart as B&O do many
It seems to me that the lack of public strategy reflects the current focus on the BeoPlay line. That line doesn't need a strategy per se, just a steady diet of great fun products. The A3 may have been something of a flop, but flops are more easily absorbed in a sub-brand like Play. By and large the feedback on the stuff has been great. If we think back to the years and years of MasterLink I'm not sure that Bang & Olufsen ever clearly communicated a
The report from Handelsbanken to their clients regarding B and O makes for interesting reading and perhaps goes someway to explaining the dramatic fall in the share price here is a link P52724PR7e56a20-9054.pdf Tue will really have to pull the rabbit out of the hat next week !!!!!!!!!! I hope they do manage to turn the corner and inspire us fans yet again !!!!!
Thanks for that.
As far as television is concerned, B&O could provide motorised stands or frames with audio onto which any flat screen TV could be mounted / inserted by the customer. Much lower manufacturing cost. Much larger potential customer base. Graham
Great idea, but Struer would insisting having to approve all TVs that could be attached to such beautifully engineered items. By the time approval had been granted the chances are that the TVs in question would have
Hvidt Nielsen had a handle on the technology, but not on the consumers, as far as I can gather the feedback. Tue Mantoni was on the board of directors, and got to know B&O's challenges from that position, before he was asked to replace Hvidt Nielsen. Mantoni's turn-around of Triumph was decisive in that respect - established brand with mojo-deficit that needed to be revitalized, and was. What does that sound like? In essence, B&O has been mismanaged

  • Masterlink Gateway and KNX
We love KNX! This is a very specialist subject field. You will require an approved KNX partner to assist you such as Aura Digital Living and us to programme the B&O system for you. It is a solid and reliable building management system that is used in commercial applications too. Our showroom is running on KNX with Gira and Busch Jaeger front end
Ealing, lovely Ealing it is the place where I want to be……

IMHO anyone who recommends Playmaker in association with wireless technology needs their head examined :) I would never EVER sell it as a wireless device as its reception is very poor by modern day standards. However, as a receiving device, when wired with certain makes of routers it performs well as a stand alone player. Multiroom? B&O you must try harder.
Does that mean there might be more updates than just spotify? A full day to explain how to promote spotify?
It will be interesting to see how Spotify is accessed and controlled from BS5? Will the MLGW be involved in music navigation?
