  • MCL2P not powering up

I just acquired a MCL2P unit that I wan't to use for connecting a set of passive speakers to my BV8 40". When I connect it I get the red standby light but when i turn on the TV the light stays red and there is no sound comming out of the speakers. I have tried with two different powerlink cables with no difference. It works fine when I connect a set of Beolab 4's Anyone have a hint on what i might have overlooked? Or will this not work at all?

Ok I got it to work with a cable i found in my basement, so I Guess that is an MK2 cable. The wierd thing is that of the two other I tried the one had the triangle marking and must therefore be MK3 but the other was thicker and didn't have it. I got bot of the very recently so I am a little in doubt what MK the one without the triangles are. Anyway, the important thing is that its now working. Thanks guys

  • Questions about Beoplay V1 and connections

I am considering replacing my BV8 40 with the new Beoplay V1 40 but i have a few questions that I can't seem to find the answers on from the official sources: 1) What is the depth og the stand for placing it on a cabinet or a table. I don't wan't it to get to close to the edge so this is essential. 2) I have a surround setup today with powerlink cabling. Are there adapters available to go from the RJ45 connectors on the TV to powerlink or do i have to buy new cables? 3) Today I have af

  • Re: B&O Play TV coming this quarter

Has anyone got any information about the analog video connector. From what I Have seen it looks like a mini DIN Connect with a lot of pins. Is there an adapter available from B&O and what connecters does it have? Alternativly does anyone have a pinout of the mini DIN?

  • Re: B&O Play TV coming this quarter

Just got the Beoplay V1 but it seems like no one knows anything about how to connect an analog source to the TV's proprietary 9 pin mini DIN connector. I have asked two dealers about it and they knew nothing. Neither did the technician who delivered the TV. Anyone has any idea about it or is analog sources just a dead chapter? Has anyone seen a service manual (its not on this site yet). Maybe there is some info about it. If just I knew the pinput of the connector I could easily make an adapter

Thanks for the inputs. I have allready made the rj45 to PL adapters myself ( also in the Full wired version so the work with my mcl2p for my sub). I have considered an upscaler but I just like it to be as simple as possible without to many boxes that needs to plug in now that the TV actually has the possibilty to connect analog devices

  • Re: HDMI-CEC

I just installed a Philips Blueray Player for my parents Beoplay V1 and there actually is an option to control the Bluray player through the HDMI cable. Downside is that it doesn't seem to work without the IR eye even though the Easy Link option is selected on the DVD player.

  • Re: HDMI-CEC

Hi I just checked again. It doesn't actually say that it is throug the HDMI connector. When I setup a new source I get to choose the PUC code for the device. After that i have the option to choose between IR blaster or plug. My Guess is that the plugoption is HDMI, but I could be wrong. Page 9 in the user manual http://beoplay.com/sitecore/shell/Controls/Rich%20Text%20Editor/~/media/27DE9D2F8F6F4F14BBF3714DB51CC117.ashx mention this but doesn't tell anything about what kind of plug this is
