  • BeoPlay A9 Mk4 question (white noise)

Dear all, I've just brought home the new Bang& Olufsen A9 Mk4 (not called BeoPlay anymore if I'm correct) and I discovered "by chance" that even though it's OFF, I can hear (when I approach my hears to the speakers) a white noise of the speakers (right and left tweeters I assume). It's as if you have a hifi stereo ON but no sound on it yet and you hear this white noise from the speakers ready to distribute music. I don't understand though why you'd hear such

  • Re: Beolab 90 user review and sales

No, not demo pairs, as they are not supposed to be sold to customers (but only serve as demo purpose) at least at this early stage. The article meant "200 pairs ordered by customers". A bit off topic : I don't know if it's still the case, but dealers only used to pay their stock to B&O only when it was actually sold to customers (so I don't know if it applies to demo items too, in that case it'd mean dealers don't pay for demo BL90s until they sell them as 'demo'

It is indeed selling very well! My dealer to his own surprise showed me the (intranet) communication of B&O on it = 200 pairs sold up to now in Europe (I believe Switzerland leads the sales). 200 pairs of BL90, I let you do the maths ^^ Philippe

  • Re: Flash your B&O - new thread!

Hey fellow beoworlders, To my surprise, B&O reposted a picture of my (instagrammed) living room on their official Facebook page. More than showing off, I was really moved by their caption, because in spite of the ever faster hi tech train nowadays, we can still live with products that grow old and yet age so well... Though it was not the B&O paper catalog, I can still die in peace now, proud to represent the B&O historical clientele. Philippe

  • Re: White covers for BeoLab 9

Thanks Razlaw and Bayerische for your feedback, but again: objectively, do you see or "guess" black speakers behind white cloth (brand new AND after some time, say one year of use)?? On an aside note, about Beolabs getting dirty, I came to think it shouldn't really be a problem: our BL9s are far away from where we are used to move around, our house is clean, we don't smoke, ...

  • White covers for BeoLab 9

Dear all, I am currently considering getting a new pair of covers for my BL9 and I am tempted by the white color. Though white can be visually nice, I would like to get a feedback from you guys who own them: do they get dirty easily and/or quickly? A reseller told me that after 3 years they would be light grey by common dirt!... What bothers me more is that it seems we can spot the speakers behind the covers, like a couple of dark circles appearing. Am I right? Bottomline, is the white cover cloth

  • Product placement.. Epic fail

I'm usually glad to spot on B&O products, be it in movies or Tv series, but I'd never seen such a fail before.. At first, it was what remotely looked like a Beocenter 2 that caught my attention, and indeed I was right.. And only then I spotted another B&O product: oh boy, how the decorator must have scratched his/her head on this! ;-) Cheers to "Modern Family" and the 'good taste' of the gay couple. Hopefully in real life they'll have put their own Beolabs correctly
