  • Downloading my music from my Beomaster 5

Hi guys, A few years ago I invested a lot of money for my system which is as follows :- Beovision 11 television, beosound 5, Beomaster 5, beolab 4000 speakers, beolink converter NL/ML, Beo4 remote control. Time has come for a change. I have bought the new Sony A9JU 65” television and I want to change the whole of my B&O music system. In other words it all has to go even though it is in perfect condition and devoid of any scratches. It’s as good as the day it was installed. I know

Hi Rob, I have a full B&O system, tv and music which includes the BS/BM5. I have always had hundreds of radio stations, possibly thousands. They all work perfectly but never use Bluetooth even if it is included. Obviously it’s all done via my WiFi. Dont ask me how to set it up as I have no idea. Its all overly complicated and I am not impressed.

Hi MM, You are obviously the on-site resident expert on all things B&O and I thank you for your advice and comments. When I originally purchased my system it was from a B&O shop in Oxford, it’s no longer there. The guys from the shop struggled to get the system to work properly and had to seek advice from B&O head office. It took a couple of weeks to resolve and they had to install an additional Cisco systems router as well as the existing Sky router. The wiring at the back of my

Thanks for your input Cooldude, you have mentioned several words that I have never even heard of. Such as an Almando box, google chrome cast and amazon echo. Also I do not know what a Beosystem3 is. Therefore I need to check these things out to see how they can help me. It all sounds fascinating, also wondering how many more pieces of kit I fit in my cabinets let alone the tons of wires. So thanks for your input. I will come back to you

Hi, Thanks for the reply to my question, I do use the speakers with my tv, but I also wrote an email to the guy who repaired both of my speakers albeit at different times. He has allayed my worries as he says he can integrate the new tv into my system. So thanks for your help but it looks like I should be ok. I will let you know how it goes though.

No I will not be sacrificing the sound as I believe the guy who repaired my speakers a couple of years ago says he can integrate the tv into my sound system. However, the sound from my system is good but I have always thought that the bass response is lacking. I have the bass at maximum which makes it acceptable. I think it’s the Achilles heel of my system. Oh and I feel the system is too complicated to navigate your way around. Thanks for your input. I will update on my potential update later

  • My B & O system

Hi guys, I have the following B&O system:- Beovision 11 television Beomaster 5 Beosound 5 Beolink converter Nl/ML Beolab 4000 speakers Panasonic Blu Ray disc player Beo4 remote Now my issue is that I want to change my television for the new Sony OLED 65” television and obviously ditch the B & O tv. If I remove the tv and the disc player from the system will my music system still work or are they all inextricably linked. As then I would plug the new tv into my Sky Q box and plug the
