• Re: Another new headphone: BeoPlay HX
The USB cable supports audio as follows: Stereo 24bit, 48kHz Apple Lossless Audio Codec(ALAC) can be 24bit up to 194 kHz. Therefore, this surpasses the USB audio capabilities. The 3.5mm jack connection is an analogue line-in and can therefore take any signal that is put out by the same connection. therefore the line-in connection will be the best connection to use when listening to ALAC media.
That would heavily depend on the DAC you use I suppose, also

  • Re: LG CX 2020 with Beosound Stage - now cannot turn off AV Sync Bypass
I have to say that the user interface on the B&O app isn’t great - the Lip Sync wasn’t obvious it was a slider (and no in-app help either).
You are absolutely right. At first it is not clear in the interface that this is a slider and therefore it is easy to miss the functionality.

For what it's worth, I noticed two webOS updates for the CX in the last few days. I personally never experienced any sync issues with the Stage, but I am also not using the apps you mentioned.

BTW, have you tried playing with the lip sync option under Sources in the B&O app? You can change the setting per app.

  • Re: Stop the talk!

It is very annoying indeed. Also, if you disable the microphone you cannot use the MyButtons at all. With the non google assist version you can use them to select a specific source or channel, which is very convenient. I wish B&O could make the Google Assist devices behave like the non Google Assist devices if you disable the microphone. They wouldn't have to make to different versions and customers could try and decide what they prefer. Also the setup process is very frustrating indeed,

  • Multiroom vs Airplay

Multiroom is one of the great B&O features to connect multiple speakers. Escpecially the "touch to connect" feature is simple and convinient during daily use. However, it also has some issues and limitations: Some recent products (Balance, Level, ...) do not support it (yet?). You can only set up alarms per speaker, it is not possible to set up an alarm for a group of speakers. You cannot set a custom volume for an alarm. Unfortunately, it can be buggy, touch to join for example doesn't

  • Re: Multiroom vs Airplay
I tried with my M3, but at the step for choosing the audio content, it says I need an active Apple Music account (that I don’t have).
I cannot test it without Apple Music subscription, but I would assume that at least the radio stations should work...

  • Re: Need help chosing my first B&O Beoplay A9

I have an A9 MK4 in a fairly big room, it has no problem filling it in terms of volume, it is never set even close to the maximum. However, when sitting on the other side of the room, to me the sound clearly coming only from the opposite side was not very pleasing to listen. Therefore, I have added a Beosound 2 on the other side of the room. Most of the time the A9 and BS2 are playing together using Multiroom or Airplay, for me this is a perfect solution. If you take the version with Google Assistent

  • Re: Beoremote One BT (Netflix/Amazon) - Saving Radio Stations

The list you access on the Beoremote One corresponds with your list of TuneIn favourites. You can favourite stations in the B&O app or in the TuneIn app. There might be some delay before they are synchronised. Once you have stored some favourites you can also use the number keys on the Beoremote One to select a channel, provided that your selected source is already TuneIn. Finally, you can also program a specific channel under one of the MyButtons by long pressing the desired MyButton when the
