  • Re: Controlling Wired Products and BL 19 placement

I would be using the same rj45 network cable which is now plugged from the BL19 into the sub socket of the BV8 (obviously using an adapter as the BV8 does not have RJ45 connectors). I want to unplug the BV19 from the BV8 and take it to the other side of the room where there is a socket and plug the BL19 into the socket. This socket is on the line taking audio to the connected front room. Patrick

  • Controlling Wired Products and BL 19 placement

I have two rooms wired with Cat 7 cable and run master BeoVision 8-40 with BeoCenter 2, BeoLab 8000's and BeoLab 19 sub in main room and BeoSound 9000, BeoLab 4000 speakers in connecting room. I have two questions: If I adjust sound (tone etc on BV8 it will not adjust the BL4000's in other room will it? Secondly, if not, where do I adjust parameters of the Beolab 4000's in the other room? On the BS9000 I presume. Secondly I have another RJ45 wired socket on the other side of the main

  • Re: What has happened to Australian showrooms

I guess what worries me the most is sacked staff. There were several very knowledgeable people working in B&O and I am guessing their expertise is not valued by the company and they will have to get other jobs. This is normally the behaviour of these companies. It will be interesting to see how this pans out.

  • What has happened to Australian showrooms

It looks as thiough the plug has been pulled on Australian outlets .seems they will be under new management if and when they reopen. I guess B&O staff are out of jobs. Not a good look for the brand. Does anyone what is going on? paddy

All are in the one room except the BL6000 and Beosound 9000. At the moment I have the Bl19 plugged into the BV8 together with the BL9000's. I want to move it to the other side of the room where there is an RJ45 outlet and inlet going to the front room to the Beosound 9000.

  • RJ 45 and subwoofer / extra speakers

I have my house wired with Cat 7 and RJ 45's. between three spots in the house. Two spots are in one room. BV8 Beocenetre 2 and BL8000's and BL 19 are connected to Beosound 9000 and BL 6000 in front room. The middle connection is just looped. Can I, with the aid of an RJ45 double adapter, connect either the Subwoofer or another set of speakers to this 'looped' point in the middle on the other side of the room. I ask because I would like to move the subwoofer out of the way to the

  • Re: Should I buy a BeoLab 19 subwoofer?

Well I went ahead and bought the Beolab 19 and have it connected. I am trying to work out what to set the Low Pass Filter to. The manual for the BL8000's says they go down to 40 Hz so I wonder if I should set the BL19 to that figure. I have done this but there seems to be a gap in the sound between the very low frequencies and the bottom notes of the Bl8000s. Does the Beovosion 8-40 have a bass management system to divide the frequencies? This is the Master that the speakers are plugged into

I will continue to try different settings. I find it amazing that B&O don't seem to have any interest in sound. There is almost no information from B&O on the details of the setup. There are plenty of details on subs in general on the net and the detailing needed to get them right. B&O I think have just produced their equipment for the bangs and rumbles of movie watching. Maybe this is the new market. In dealing with audio stores and brands I have yet to come across one that seems
